Location: Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Area, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, Central America (Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica) View Map

Accommodations:  Luxury Home, 4 Bedrooms + Detached Unit, 4 Baths (Sleeps 13)

Isolated on the mountainside, Casa Antonio has an elevated, unobstructed and panoramic view of the entire inlet from Quepos to the Islands of Manuel Antonio National Park.

Casa Antonio offers a spacious three storied very private Casa with FOUR grand bedrooms all with large private modern baths. Water heated by gas and electric for continuous service. Casa Antonio is fully air conditioned, all private suites with separately controlled units in each sleeping area. Bedrooms are isolated in private areas off of the main house leaving a large space to commune. Away from it all, we have private seating areas to accommodate those who wish privacy.

The Master Suite encompasses the entire upper level with a magnificent 270 degree view of the Pacific Ocean and rain forest. This suite is bright with natural sunlight and a separate terrazzo overlooking the pool and expansive jungle below. One queen size bed with an extra twin, AC isolated to space. Grand bath and shower with view of ocean. This space is spectacular and very private. Best view in Manuel Antonio.

The Quarter Deck, at the first level one very large, private suite with medium light. Situated overlooking the gardens, the jungle and with an ocean view. We will change beds to be used as king size or two to three twin beds to accommodate the group needs.

The Pool Room at the lower level, is isolated away from the main house with medium to high natural light cordoned off with curtains. Private bath, queen size bed and AC. Great space if you want to be either away from it all or in the middle, just by opening the curtains.

The Einstein is on the main level and located in the front of the house and with separate AC, a very large private bath and close to the kitchen. This room has a queen bed and is for the quiet sleeper with minimal light. In the morning and if the windows are open you will hear the Howler monkeys form the tree tops.

Casa Antonio offers a quiet, tranquil setting, although you have the constant roar of the Pacific Ocean waves breaking on the shore below and against the islands . There is never a silent moment and not plagued with the sounds of the main street. You will hear the four different types of monkeys and the amazingly different calls of the numerous species of tropical birds typical of Costa Rica.

Occasionally we find two different species of Sloth. Iguanas are numerous but stay at the lower property, and only seen basking in the sunlight. Spinner Dolphins can be seen from the upper level of Casa Antonio.

We have all the luxuries of the North American home although most folks after three days of living in the jungle turn those off to sit with the light of the moon. The vast-night sky is illuminated with stars and constellations. The night sounds of the jungle are truly mystical at Casa Antonio.

“La puesta del sol”- Sunset, is spectacular and viewed from any level of the house..
Casa Antonio is a five minute walk to the beach below and, at some point you will encounter an elevation so bring appropriate shoes. Bus is 120 colones about 25 cents each way.

The fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood in Quepos/Manuel Antonio make anyone a good chef. Everything is fresh with no additives including our fresh water. Casa Antonio has an indoor and an outdoor kitchen so one can choose to cook with gas or electric.

Elevated 270 Degree View of Manuel Antonio to Quepos

Year Purchased: 2005

Why the Owner Chose Manuel Antonio

After traveling the World and searching for an affordable and peaceful place to live; with the view of the Almafi coast of Italy, the spice of Madrid, Spain and the seclusion of Ibiza; Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica had it all to offer. Colorful locals always with a kind greeting and a suggestion of "where and when". More importantly, the night sounds of the jungle and the Pacific coast have captured me, at Casa Antonio.

The Unique Benefits at this Luxury Home

I live here year round in a cabina below during high season, lost in the jungle but you can find me if you need me. Seasons change in Manuel Antonio unlike other areas of Costa Rica. I always look forward to the travlers of the dry season now extending into the wet season as rates become more reasonable. Although my favorite time is May, after the typical travlers have returned to homes and the early morning rains begin twice or three times a week. The rains may last an hour or two if we're lucky and make the most beautiful morning in Manuel Antonio; clear, cool and GREEN. Casa Antonio is elevated over the jungle with the full view of the jungle and the Islands of Manuel Antonio.
