We are located close to the equator, the temperature remains constant all year and the ocean water is always warm. The temperatures range from 65 F (20C) at night to 90 F (30C) during the day. The name was coined by the locals who were astonished with its natural beauty. Praia Bela became accessible with the construction of the new highway PB-008. It is an ideal place to enjoy a quiet and peaceful vacation. It offers miles and miles of "unpopulated beaches" for those seeking a quiet refuge.
We are located between two major airports: Recife (REC) and Joao Pessoa (JPA), and transportation can be arranged from the airport. Praia Bela has it all: swimming, diving, surfing, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, windsurfing, or strolling along the beach. At the heart of Praia Bela is a Maceio, "where the ocean meets the river." There you can do some kayaking, swimming in fresh water, fly fishing, or just enjoying the several restaurants at the beach front. We are 10 minutes from Jacuma and 30 minutes from the capital Joao Pessoa.
