My group of 8 stayed here for a night and were wowed by how beautiful this home was. While the living and dining rooms aren't as gigantic as other homes in the area, the bedrooms and bathrooms are all large and everything is well-appointed. The pictures on here really don't do the place justice. The kitchen is fully-stocked (high-end appliances, even a food processor!) and is perfect for foodie chefs. The jacuzzi is on the smaller side (6 adults) for how many people the house sleeps, but is clean, stays hot and is easy to use. The house is also on a wide street in a very nice neighborhood near the lake. Views of the lake really are "filtered" through trees in the distance, but it's pretty anyway. We'll definitely stay here again.

My husband and adult children stayed in this lovely, cozy home for five days in December through Christmas. We were pleasantly surprised to find the house decorated for Christmas and lots of firewood ready for us to burn in the large wood burning fireplace. The house was clean, which is very important to me. We had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay there again.

Just wrapped up a wonderful weekend in North Lake Tahoe at this stunning Dollar Point property and man I could not be happier with our rental choice. From the moment I walked in the doors I knew the weekend was going to be great. The house is beautifully remodeled with a great kitchen for cooking and socializing. Everyone always likes to hang out in the kitchen and the floor layout was perfect for our group. Great entertainment system with speakers on the outside deck made for beautiful sunset views and major relaxing in the hot tub after deep powder days. The bedrooms were all spacious and enough to accomodate a large group. Overall, I would come back to this property in a heartbeat. Thinking about another trip already. The owners we dealt with were also very professional and caring about our time spent as well, including follow ups after the stay. I was very pleased on all fronts of this experience. Thanks again guys!

My family and two dogs loved staying here. This was the BEST vacation home we have ever stayed in. It was nicely furnished, and I loved the kitchen. My kids enjoyed playing in the backyard in the snow, and my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub during the evening. Great neighborhood. Very quiet. The stars at night on the back deck were incredible. Everything you need seemed to be right there in the home. Would stay here again any time.

Modern, well appointed house located close to Northstar, Squaw, and Alpine. It was very comfortable and felt like someone's home, not a rental. We would absolutely go back if we had a group of 10-12.

This cabin is well-maintained, modern, well decorated, and has a great amount of space inside and around the property. We took advantage of the CD player, the internet access, the DVD player, and the well-stocked kitchen (we ate large family meals every night we stayed there). High ceilings and large windows allow for a wonderful amount of natural light. There is a lot of space for families to play boardgames and enjoy company. The bedrooms are all comfortable and the layout affords a fair amount of privacy for the little baby in the family. Our dog was in heaven romping around the surrounding area (no traffic to speak of on the street, really). It was so convenient and peaceful to be in one of the rooms with a door to the outside. The wrap-around deck would be ideal for warming up in sunshine or entertaining in the summer time. The jacuzzi is nestled on a downstairs deck of its own, surrounded by trees. Everything works. It is a dream cabin! Gorgeous lake views are just a quick walk away. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, but conveniently located just minutes from Tahoe City. The drive to State-line casinos or Alpine/Squaw/Homewood mountains is a breeze. We will definitely be back.

Our family (grown children, spouses and one grandchild) stayed at the McAvoy's wonderful Tahoe residence for a long weekend (5 days, 4 nights) the beginning of February. The home is conveniently located to a number of ski resorts. This is a large, well-maintained, beautifully furnished home with a great kitchen stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. The home was clean and ready for us when we arrived, complete with detailed instructions on how to work the heater, hot-tub, etc. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it without reservation to others. The McAvoys even sent us a note and mailed back the cd case we forgot. We'll be back!

My wife and I stayed in this wonderful home the weekend after Thanksgiving just to have some peace and quiet. The home is clean, neat and fully equipped with every kitchen appliance. Views of the Lake make it even better! We are already planning a return visit and would highly recommend this home to anyone.

This home was just beautiful and accomodated our 8 adult kids and 5 grandchildren perfectly! It has every amenity including a great deck and lovely grassy backyard area! The appliances are the BEST and the additional paper supplies and cooking needs wwere very generous. There are even games, toys, and a ton of Lego for younger children! It's even pet-friendly which added a terrific dimension for our grand-dogs! We loved the location, the great landscaping,and wooded environment and have every intention of a return stay!

Evenings on the deck under the stars were magnificent. Sound system is awesome; greatly appreciated by the young adults. We very much appreciated the toys left out for the children, the pantry supplies in the kitchen, and the general usefulness of everything. Beds were comfortable and extra linens, pillows, towels were easy to find. The real fireplace (no gas logs) was a big hit with the marshmallow roasting group. All in all, a family weekend with great memories for six adults and two children, easily and comfortably at home.
