The week we stayed at Casa Corsica made for the perfect finish to our Italy vacation. Our hosts were kind, friendly, and thought of pretty much everything we might need. We found great home-baked bread and lemon cake waiting for us, the apartment was very nice, and the refrigerator was even stocked! Fantastic! The apartment is within walking distance of the city center, but is also close to good bus connections, and there are many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We would not hesitate to stay here the next time we visit Bologna!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bologna and Michelle's apartment. Bologna was a lovely respite for us after the crowds of Rome and Florence, still with plenty to do but without the hoards of tourists. We enjoyed a relaxing few days in Michelle's apartment, and she was such a gracious host - even offering to do our laundry! Her apartment was meticulously clean and spacious enough for our family of three. The bus stop was a short walk away, making it easy for us to see the sites. Michelle was more than willing to give us advice of things to see and do. We were only in Bologna for such a short time and would love to return one day to explore some more. We would have no hesitation in staying again in the apartment.

Much TLC here!

After renting many apartments in Italy, I can say that Michelle's flat in Bologna was the best, hands down! It was definitely the cleanest and had the most personal touches. Can't get any better than the homemade yogurt, jam, eggs, bread and cake left for us in the kitchen for our arrival. They were very much appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday when food shops are closed. Also really appreciated the cell phone and maps at the apartment for our use. Also, the location is very good with the bus stop and found shops found along Via Saragozza. I hope to make my way to Bologna and stay at Michelle's flat again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my week in Bologna. "Casa Corsica" is charming, clean, and well-appointed. It was such a nice surprise to see the fridge well-stocked when I arrived. The neighborhood is quiet and full of great shops and yummy restaurants. The bus to the center is very convenient, but it's also a nice walk along the covered walkways of the city.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Corsica for a week and enjoyed it immensely. We were greeted warmly, and the freshly baked bread and lemon cake waiting for us were terrific. After a few walking trips into the center of Bologna, we began to use the bus, which was very convenient. Michelle's recommendations for restaurants were excellent. Highly recommended!

I was fortunate to spend a week at Casa corsica in April with my husband and 2 children. The flat was very comfortable, clean, sunny and the location was convenient to the old center with the beautiful porticos and shops. Michelle was a delight! She was always available to offer great restaurant or sight seeing ideas as well bake us the occasional lemon or chocolate cake (which were amazing!!). I highly recommend the flat as well as the stay in Bologna. Bologna had few tourists, great restaurants & tapa bars and beautiful architecture. We would definitely return!!

This place was perfection!!!! I could go back next week and stay forever. We were treated like we were part of the family. When we arrived the refrigerater had been stocked with juice, milk, butter, bread, coffee, cheese, etc. On the kitchen table was a lemon pound cake which didn't last very long. Soooo good!!!! Don't delay~! Stay here and go to Bologna. The location is perfect for getting around the city walking, taking the bus or getting to the airport. Local food markets with fresh eggs with yolks that were so orange I thought I had my own chickens. This place is heaven! Thank you so much for making my stay so sweet! I will return!

An oasis of splendor in Bologna! The apartment was even nicer than the photos show on the web site and was well-appointed with a very comfortable bed, splendid kitchen and nice bathroom. There was even a great collection of jazz CDs for us to enjoy while preparing our Bolognese dinners! Michelle was a wonderful hostess doing our laundry, providing tips on local restaurants and area towns to visit. She even stocked the kitchen with a week's worth of Italian breakfast foods, fresh fruit, etc. and even baked us a delicious cake! The apartment location was close to the bus but also a nice walk to the Piazza Maggiore along Via Saragoza where there were numerous food and specialty shops the fulfill our cooking needs. We hope to return to Italy and Bologna in the future and will definitely be booking our stay at CasaCorsica again! Grazie, Michelle!

What a great flat! We just had the best time in Italy, we stayed for a week and used Bologna as our 'home base' for exploring as much of northern Italy that we could squeeze in (Florence was our favorite!). Michelle could not have been nicer or more thoughtful-a very gracious hostess. The flat was just perfect for two people, very clean and well appointed. I'm not sure how much travelling the previous poster has done in Europe but the bathroom is downright cavernous compared to most others that I've seen. Highly recommend Casa Corsica! Thanks again Michelle!!

We stayed here for 4 weeks in spring 2008 and would thoroughly recommend it for couples of any age. Michelle and her family treated us like friends, baking us cakes (very tasty), loaning us their bikes, giving advice, doing our washing, etc. They could not have done more to enhance our holiday and we are thoroughly grateful. The flat is clean, nicely furnished and more spacious than the flats that we considered in the city centre, though the bathroom is quite small. It was really nice to have somewhere as nice as this to call home in Bologna. With such good bus and rail links, we found so much to do that, even after 4 weeks, we were still finding new places to see in Bologna, in its nearby beautiful hills and valleys (walking distance from the flat) and in the fascinating historic cities that surround it. 100% Positive!
