We recently stayed at Moosemac and enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin was extremely clean and well cared for, with views just like a dream. We really enjoyed waking up every morning in the loft bedroom and gazing out through the wall of windows at the breathtaking mountain views. We ate many meals out on the deck so we could soak up every bit of peace and tranquility around us. If you are looking for a clean, beautiful, extremely relaxing place to vacation then Moosemac is for you.

Great views from every window....at night you will feel like you are sleeping in the stars in the master bedroom. The hot tub is perfect with an awesome view and complete privacy. Our highlight was having a couples massage by the roaring fireplace...incredible!! Book it if you have the chance. We will be back!!

Lory & Ed We enjoyed it so very much!! The special touches you had in your home made it even more enjoyable. I cannot believe it is 9 years old- It looks brand new!!!! I love the mountains and have stayed in many, many cabins over the last 25 years. I have never enjoyed a view more, nor have I been able to enjoy it from every area of the home. Although we only ventured to the hot tub for a few minutes one night, it was so nice to have both privacy and a beautiful, amazing view. The way the tub is seated into the deck and is surrounded on three sides makes it look like a part of the home, rather than a big unaesthetic tub stuck up on the deck. Your directions for the tv/sterio were also perfect and so helpful. I have on more than one occasion had to have the realty companies send their maintenance man to get the TV to come on!! I think things like this are certainly why I will try VRBO again for my next vacation and why we would love to revisit Moosemac. If I could have fit your beautiful bed into my car I would have taken it with me, as it was so comfortable and we slept so well- only to wake up to the most amazing view ! My only complaint is that the coffee would not make itself and bring itself upstairs. Thanks again for a most enjoyable stay William

STOP LOOKING FOR A CABIN NOW! MooseMac is it! After countless hours of searching cabin wesites and speaking with Cabin Management companies, we spoke with Lori Mac and she patiently answered all of our questions, and didn't continue with a sales pitch. The drive to the cabin let us know that we were not in the suburbs any longer. And when we opened the front door, "Wow!". We could see straight through the living area and out the rear windows of the cabin to see the rolling mountains! Good bye stress and the working world! Yes, the cabin is as clean as the website shows, and that's a lot to say with renting a cabin. There's hardly any evidence of "wear & tear". We're from Tampa/St. Pete, so we have seen what Touists can do to beach hotels! The setting is so peaceful, and gets you back in touch with nature, that we were surprised that the Macs could actually get people to leave the cabin after their stay. Great place for a family event, couples get-away, or girls weekend out. We WILL be back!

I really enjoyed this place. The owners were wonderful to work with, and I really got the impression they wanted our stay to be happy. The cabin is nicely decorated in a western, rustic theme. It includes a wonderful view. The stars are amazing to look at on one of the three deck areas. I was blown away by seeing the hawks and eagles at eye level. The view from the Master Loft is one you will want to wake up with each day for the rest of your life. While the Master Bath is efficient, the outside, private hot tub is truly impressive! I can't say enough positive about this experience.

Moosemac was an awesome experience. I'm so glad that we chose it because none of the other cabins that we saw could compete with this one. The cabin is so beautiful and it looks exactly like the pictures online. It has so much character. I was so impressed. Everything was so neat and clean. It looks untouched. Lory didn't leave out any details in the construction and decoration of this cabin. The wooden floors and walls are so beautiful. The view of the mountains from the master bedroom is breathtaking. I enjoyed watching the clouds change every morning. My friend and I spent a week at Moosemac and we barely left to do anything. This cabin was all that we needed. We were so relaxed that it was hard to come back to reality when we arrived back home. I don't see how anyone could just stay for a couple of days. Moosemac is definitely "a home away from home". The customer service was first-class. Lory was very friendly and helpful. Her enthusiasm about our stay made me even more excited. I was not disappointed with this cabin selection. The rental process was very informative and detailed. All the information about the cabin, appliances, important info, and nearby attractions were in an information book at the cabin. Great job Lory! This was very helpful. I would recommend that you eat at the Cuccina Restaurant. The pizza and the garlic knots are delicious. Also be sure to visit Mercier Orchards to experience several delicous pies. We must not forget that the classical massage that we received at Serenity in the Mountains was perfect in conjunction with our Moosemac stay. The experience was an extension of Moosemac. We loved our stay! Moosemac is the perfect romantic getaway.

My husband and I had a great time at Moosemac; the views from the back deck were breathtaking. The location was very convenient to many neighboring towns which allowed us to do some exploring. The cabin was very clean and well equiped. Thank you again and we hope to come back one day very soon.

Our second visit to Moosemac. We love it and will return again. Very nice and accomodating hosts. Spectacular views from the gorgeous sky high ceilings and spacious outdoor deck. Love the private hot tub and very comfortable master bed and loft. Extremely clean throughout. Had a very peaceful quiet vacation breathing in the clean mountain air. Brought books to read but the views were so amazing I hardly cracked them open!

Peace and Quiet

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city or work stress, book yourself & family into Moosemac - you will not be disappointed. When you finish your drive up to the top of the mountain (very easy) you will enter from the rear of the chalet and the vista in front of you is breathtaking! You then start to explore the house and there is nothing that has been left to chance. Lory and Ed have thought of it all, from the fully stocked kitchen to the wonderful comfortable beds. The silence when you spend time on the front porch is a joy to experience - let your troubles drift away. From my first call to Lory through follow-up and directions it was a pleasure to deal with her - great customer service. We will be back and there is nothing I would change in this beautiful chalet. Moosemac Vacation Surpassed our Expectations

I should first mention that we planned our summer vacation around Moosemac. After researching vacation homes in various states in the South, Moosemac was the only place we wanted to stay. We arrived late on a Saturday night and spent a couple of hours checking out the cabin, but it wasn't until early the next day that we were able to take it all in --- the view was spectacular. Our family of 4 (two kids, ages 10 and 8) spent a week in North Georgia enjoying various activities in the area (horseback riding, tubing, rafting, hiking) and went "home" to enjoy the Moosemac amenities - the view; the warm, yet stylish, decor; the hot tub; playing pool. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! All of our communication was with Lory and she was always responsive, informative and extremely easy to work with. I believe we have been spoiled for any future vacation home rentals. Thank you Lory and Ed for sharing your cabin with us!

Our 20th Anniversary at Moosemac was fantastic

My wife and I drove to Moosemac a few days prior to our children flying in so we could celebrate our anniversary.  The CABIN and the VIEWS are amazing.  We watched dear in the back yard as we prepared and ate dinner on the deck.  We also saw a black bear one day on our daily hiking adventures, (far from the cabin).  If you love the outdoors I highly recommend a stay at Moosemac.  The cabin and all its ammenities are spotless/clean and user friendly.With my children we enjoyed more near by hiking, tubing down the river and white water rafting.If you should be so lucky to spend the 4th of July as we were, the three day display of fire works from the balcony was a memory that we will never forget.To top the cake,  the owners and contact people were so friendly and easy to work with.  From my experiance with Moosemac I can easily recommend it to future interested vacationers.   Mike and Laura from SW Florida,

This cabin far exceeds expectation. The pictures were great but the cabin is outstanding and very professionally decorated. The views from every viewpoint were just amazing and ever changing. Our every need was met and then some. The hot tub was great, the grill was tops, the audio/ music/stereo system was really good and easy to use. We will definitely stay there again. I told my husband that I want one just like Moosemac.

Our time at Moosemac was wonderful! It was great to have my cup of coffee looking over the beautiful mountains and end the evening with a relaxing soak in the hot tub! This place is even prettier than the pictures. It takes your breath away as soon as you open the door and look straight out to the mountain view. VERY peaceful, clean, comfortable, upscale without being stuffy. Lory is the perfect host. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing time, the owners have really thought of everything. My parents were totally blown away and in fact everyone else was too. The photos on the website look exactly like the cabin and I felt like we got exactly what you portrayed, which was a little bit of heaven. We used the hot tub and fireplace everyday and had some awesome games of pool.Hot tub, fireplace and layout were lovely. The decor was perfect and very tastefully designed. The bathrooms looked as if they had never been used. We had a great time and would highly recommend the Moosemac!

My husband and I stayed at MooseMac for a week to celebrate our Anniversary and my husband's birthday. After going through many cabin rentals, we selected MooseMac based on the pictures and descriptions. MooseMac was not just a cabin rental, it was an experience! The 180 degree mountain view from the living room was unbelievable, and waking up to that same view each morning was heaven. The private hot tub with a view and the wood burning fireplace were great. We took our own food and spent the entire week at Moosemac without moving our car.We experienced a great relaxing and romantic vacation. Searching through the enormous amount of cabin listings available in North Georgia was beginning to be a pain, until we found MooseMac! Our search was over, finally! After being in the cabin for 3 nights, we found that it definitely lived up to our expectations. It was clean, had every amenity you'd want (and didn't think of :-D), a great audio system and a SUPER view! This will definitely be our future cabin of choice! :-D

My boyfriend Peter and I decided last minute to spend a weekend at Moosemac to celebrate my birthday. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. The cabin is very well appointed and all of the furnishings are top of the line. It was spacious and luxurious. The setting is very serene and the nearby city & orchard were a lot of fun. The owner was very hands on and we felt we could call her for any of our needs or questions. Moosemac was a dream come true for me.My husband,daughter and I stayed for 2 weeks at the end of July and were so impressed.The cabin is everything it says it is, and more.The decor and furnishings are first class,the huge bed in the master bedroom is the comfiest I've ever slept in, and the views are unbeatable.The deck is huge and the hot tube was lovely to soak in in the evenings. We loved the area,lots of small towns to visit,lots of fantastic hikes and so much to do in the area. Lory and Ed made us feel very welcome and I would most definitely return if possible.

My husband and I have rented a variety of vacation properties at the beach and in similar mountainous areas, but Moosemac is definitely a frontrunner. Not only was the home expertly constructed and strategically positioned to maximize the mountain view, the owners incorporated western decor meets modern amenities perfectly (no corny country chic here). This is a very romantic getaway for couples but could also work for families or a group because the home has downstairs bedrooms, a rec room, and pool table. The facility was clean, well maintained, and fully stocked with the standard kitchen and bath setups. Additionally, the rental process was painless and we received courteous and prompt customer service from the owners. We are already thinking about our next trip!

I stayed at Moosemac for a girl's weekend in mid November. Absolutely beautiful place, the cabin itself and the awesome view. The owner is wonderful to work with and made sure no detail was left out. From the first time I made contact with Lory and Ed, I felt like I was working with friends. They made our rental experience flawless from ease of renting to their detailed directions to find Moosemac to their attention to every little detail there. No surprise here -- it is exactly like the pictures on their webpage -- every room and the exquisite view. The master bed is the most comfortable I've ever found away from home and it was especially nice to awaken and look out at the night sky from that comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, fresh mountain air and beautiful Fall leaves. Thanks to Lory and Ed, you'll feel like their beautiful mountain home is your home. I highly recommend it for your vacation.

Wow! When my husband and I first walked in the door, we were blown away by the magnificent view. The beauty of your cabin is equally gorgeous! We came here for a romantic getaway and we were not disappointed. Loved the way the hot tub was private, yet it let us enjoy the outdoors and stunning surroundings. We even danced under the stars on the outside deck, listening to music on your cd player. We certainly appreciated all the attention to detail, visually and functionally. Our Moosemac stay was one of the best getaways we have had. The mountain location and views are spectacular. The cabin was first rate with soaring ceilings and windows, all the comforts of home and a very comfy king size bed. There are things to do nearby or if you just want to relax and breathe in the fresh mountain air, soak in the private hottub and enjoy the amazing scenery Moosemac is just the place. We will definitely be back!

We just got back from Moosemac yesterday. What a vacation!! Moosemac is such a great place to stay. I am extremely picky about where I stay on vacation and I have to say - No one would be disappointed in Moosemac. We've stayed in many mounatin rentals in TN. All those cabins were through Rental Agencies. Those cabins are run as a business. It is a hit or miss on cleaniness, The Moosemac was EXTREMELY CLEAN. The owners of Moosemac took such good care of us. They offered suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to eat. Working with Lory & Ed I felt like I was working with friends. Actually EVERYONE I met in the Blue Ridge area were some of the NICEST people you would ever want to be around. TRUST me...you can not go wrong with a vacation at Moosemac. We will definetly return!

Lory, Thanks for everything. We had a wonderful time and really loved your place. It more than met our expectations. You provided a ton of information which made everything easy. The view was incredible from every place in the cabin. Waking up in bed with a view of both mountains and sky was great. Interior design, furniture, AV, grill, kitchen appliances and hottub were better than expected and made it a real pleasure to be there.
