Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2007
We are a family of 5. Our kids are 10, 12 and 13, and we love coming in all seasons. We are reasonably affluent, and we take great pride in our second home. We have outfitted it with all the comforts we expect in a primary residence, and we take delight in making it available to friends, family and to you.
Why the Owner Chose Booth Creek
For our second home, we wanted plenty of space (not a cramped ski condo), high-end finishes and a private garage in which to store our toys. This gives us everything we wanted -- and more! It is is a great location, in a quiet section of Vail, within easy reach of the Village. Two miles away, in the Village, a place of this size and quality is FIVE times the price, or more, and you'd never get a heated garage. In a place like Vail, we don't mind walking, or biking, or driving the short distance into town. We LOVE it!
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
Though we purchased this home in 2007, we've been coming to Vail for years. Here, we have easy access to the ski area and town, to the golf course and the bike path, and to the hiking trails, especially Booth Creek and the trails around Vail Pass. We love taking advantage of the restaurant deals in the off-season, and have made a ritual of coming in the beautiful spring and fall, when tourism is down.

Positive Rating
We stayed a few nights in this beautiful townhome in the outskirts of Vail. The house is very nice and cozy with a large gourmet kitchen and a very nice living room that had comfortable couches. The master bedroom was huge and had its own oversize bathroom and walk-in-closet. The other two bedrooms were also good sized and there was an open loft that we also used. We were six adults and two kids and everyone was very happy here. With two small kids I really appreciated that there was a washer and dryer in the house. The only thing that was a little bit negative about this house was that it was quite a walk to get to the free shuttle. Still, a few in our group walked to and from the shuttle stop without complaining too much, but when we could we would take the car and use the pay parking in Vail. Overall, this was a great value and we had a great time here. Thanks! Owners Response: Guests are welcome to use our Vail resident Value Car for parking. It entitles you to $12/day parking during the week in 2009, and $20/day on weekends and holidays. (Regular rate: $25/day.)

Fantastic place, just as advertised. Location is great with nice mountain views. Furnishings are beautiful and kitchen equipment is brand new. Lots of space. The heated garage was great and had tons of storage. Fast and stable internet if you need to stay in touch with work. ATT Cell service is a little weak, but there is a phone system in the house. I will stay here again ! Owner was very easy to deal with and very helpful.
