Its called La Sirena,
an apartment
perched at the edge
of a golf course.
Quiet except for:
The click of iron
on hard balls,
golf carts swishing by,
soft swearing at hole number nine,
song birds singing,
gentle breezes rustling
the gnarled old trees.
In the distance,
sporadic sounds of cheering
from the baseball stadium.
All perfectly quiet,
except for the sound
of life being lived.

We absolutely love the beautiful mountain and golf course views we get from our patio. There is nothing better than sitting outside watching the sun set on a winter evening when it is snowing everywhere else in the country! Plus, the location is close to all that downtown Scottsdale has to offer -- from restaurants to art galleries to great gellato and fabulous running and biking paths. We're always happy to share "Casa LaSirena" with others who enjoy visiting the beautiful deserts of Arizona.

My husband and I are native Minnesotans who now call a sailboat (La Sirena) our home. We are docked in a Northern California marina, but we love to visit our youngest son, his wife, and our grandchildren in Arizona. Every time we visit our condo we want to stay forever! The weather in Arizona is just beautiful in the fall, winter and spring, and we really enjoy being outdoors pretty much year-round.

The property was immaculate when we arrived and was stocked with everything we needed throughout our stay. The decor is modern and clean. Outside on the patio we enjoyed the comfortable patio chairs and table - even dining al fresco a few nights (the sunset views of Camelback are gorgeous). The overall property is clean and well maintained. The gym and pool were a bonus! This is a great location with easy access to Scottsdale and the entire Phoenix valley. Walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale and nice restaurants like AZ 88. In the morning's we were able to go running up the "green belt" right from the front door. I would most definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable, and affordable Scottsdale vacation.

My husband and I spent a delightful month at this condo. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and is roomier than it looked in the photos, including a lovely patio. Location is 5 minutes or less to downtown Scottsdale with art, music, restaurants, etc. and within walking distance of Scottsdales's extensive greenbelt, a supermarket, good pizza (at Basha's, the market), and good southwestern (Carlsbad Tavern). Owners couldn't have been more helpful with planning, directions, dining recommendations, etc. Condo gym is well-equipped and clean; the pool looked good as well. There's lots to do in Scottsdale and the surrounding area, so our month flew by and it was a most welcome break from winter.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

We stayed a month here and had a wonderful time. The condo is tastefully decorated, welcoming, and very comfortable. We loved the patio overlooking the golf course and the greenbelt for biking and hiking. The location is terrific. Old Town Scottsdale,Fashion Sq., and good restaurants are minutes away and even walkable(with 1-2 miles). If we ever plan another lengthy stay in this area, we would definitely rent this unit again. As one enters this property, the daily stress of life is left behind at the door. Your eyes are greeted by a golf course spanning the foreground, as Camelback Mt rises behind. Inside, the bed is comfortable, all furniture and appliances are new, and serenity envelops one's inner self. The owners are very helpful, informative, and accommodating to a prospective tenant - it was a pleasure renting their property! "Casa de la Sirena" truly felt like "my home away from home"!

Great place to stay. It backs up to a golf course and is quiet all day. I believe it is newly decorated and is very attractive. It is a couple of miles from 101 a main highway to Tempe and north Scottsdale. The owners were very helpful in making the arrangements. I would stay here again and recommend it.
