This updated golf course home with tranquil views located on the 4th hole of the Turtle Point Golf Course in the Vanderhorst Plantation section behind the second gate boasts 5 lovely bedrooms each with its own bath, shower and tub. The large master bedroom has a Jacuzzi tub, large walk in shower, plus his and her walk-in closets. The bedrooms are configured for privacy. Closets and storage galore! A crib and high chair are provided. This 3,200 sq. ft. home has been recently renovated.
A two story Great Room allows relaxation as well as a decorative fireplace and wet bar. The Great Room offers a 42" high definition plasma TV and DVR. Enjoy playing games, watching movies and sports, or just great conversations with family and friends.
The Dining Room is ample for guests to gather for wonderful meals and time together! The full service kitchen is equipped with Jenn-Air appliances. The kitchen has a cozy adjacent dining area and a lounge area with TV to keep the Cook entertained while preparing that gourmet meal.
Enjoy the exterior back deck and gas barbecue overlooking the golf course.

Our home boasts a sunny exposure for a cheerful atmosphere all day. As you sit relaxing on the back deck enjoy the beautiful oaks and magnolia trees on the impeccably manicured golf course. Our home is located on quiet Glenn Abbey behind the second gate for privacy and far from traffic.

Our stay was delightful! The home is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The home accommodated our group of 7 very easily. The owner is extremely helpful and responds to questions right away. We would definitely recommend this home to friends and would certainly stay in it again during future visits.

We had a wonderful spring break in April of 2011. The home was perfect for two families. We enjoyed walking and bike riding to the beach. The house was very clean and well supplied for renters. It was very helpful to have beach chairs and the beach wagon available for use. We are looking forward to coming back some day . . .

This past July my family stayed at this property. It was very well equipped, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially liked that the bedrooms were somewhat separated, as we had small children. The home was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location was ideal for us. We like to stay behind the second gate, and we would surely like to use this property when we visit Kiawah Island again.

We have two years in a row spent a month or more at this lovely home. It is ideal for families; the layout allows privacy for 3 families (with children), with a wonderful central "get together" area. It is perfectly located for beach, privacy, and has a beautiful golf course view. Having stayed on Kiawah several years, we prefer being behind the second gate, we think it's more beautiful than the rest of the island; and the bike riding is superb! Being close to Osprey Point Golf Course "deck" restaurant, and biking distance to the Ocean course "sunset deck" is a real plus. We had a couple of "requests" while there, and they were taken care of immediately. WE LOVE THIS HOUSE, AND ALL OUR FAMILY THAT CAME DOWN WANTS TO PUT OUR RESERVATION IN FOR NEXT YEAR ALREADY! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stays at the home, and at Kiawah.....WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VACATION THERE, FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN GET AWAY! Marje & Tom Van Dyke
