Why the Owner Chose Kitty Hawk
Growing up in Virginia and living in New York City now, we miss our Southern beaches! OBX is unique and a great place. We found this house after just visiting India and decided that it was our “Beach Nirvana.” We love the memories that come with watching our boys grow up and enjoying family together. It’s a great place to relax and spend quality time with our sons and large extended family. We invite you to share in the experience and build your memories at Beach Nirvana, too.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This house (and surrounding property) is a true vacation home. It is secluded and peaceful, all the while being in a busy beach town. We added the Observation Tower in 2007 because you could smell the ocean air & hear the waves crash (in the evening with the windows open), but couldn't see the ocean through the trees. Now, you can feel it, hear it, and see it. The 360 degree view is surreal. We get a lot of inquires about the intensity of the walk to the beach. It’s not bad at all. In fact, it’s a fun stroll to the beach! You pass a turtle pond and the kids get a nature stroll which is a bonus. This house is truly peaceful, as the name “Nirvana” implies. It is a worthwhile visit and a long stay! Hope you plan your vacation with us!

This truely was a vacation to remember! The house was beautiful and had everything and more we could ask for. The huge pool was one of our favorites! We really loved the secluded home in an activity filled area.

Beach Nirvana is definitely "Nirvana" on the East Coast. Great for families & kids, friends, couples and teens/kids (user friendly for the little ones). I have spent many summers there and have had memories to keep forever. You can take few minutes walk to the beach, stay on the path though, or stay at home, or stay to prepare a gourmet meal for you and your guests. Put the kiddies in bed and then run to the tower to enjoy the ocean! Can't wait for my next stay at Beach Nirvana. Absolutley peaceful place!! Enjoy!

Absolutely Beautiful Place and Everything you could want ! Lots of room and Great views ! Huge Pool, Hot Tub and within walking distance to the beach ! We loved the privacy you had with the huge lot and the kids favorite were the views from the widow walk on the roof. It is by far the best place we have ever stayed at in Nags Head and we have been going to Nags Head for over 30years.

What an amazing time we had staying at this house in Nags Head. The layout was perfect for the 3 couples and 5 kids. House was clean and extremely well maintained. The huge pool and pool area was perfect for after the beach BBQ’s. The best house to stay for the price on the area.
