This fully-furnished, beautiful log home is located in beautiful northern Wisconsin, on a private, 26 acre lake. It has 10 acres of wooded land and 500 feet of private lake frontage with a sandy beach area for you to enjoy.
The wildlife is abundant! You can expect to see fish jumping, deer, fox, red and grey squirrels, wild turkeys, and porcupines, to name a few. Loons will serenade you in the morning and evening, and it is not unusual to see a bald eagle flying overhead.
The Log Chalet is a modern, custom built home, with tongue and groove paneling and hardwood floors. It has luxurious bathrooms, kitchen and sleeping accommodations.
The great room contains a massive stone fireplace, has views of the lake in all directions, and an open log beamed ceiling. An exquisite four season porch provides an alternative year round viewing and sitting area, with all windows. It is a beautiful gathering spot.
The gourmet kitchen boasts beautiful counter-tops, new appliances, microwave, dishwasher, and wet bar. Cookware, dishes and utensils are provided. There is a beautiful nook located just off the Kitchen for your dining enjoyment. The three private bedrooms have new full beds, a futon (full size) is provided on the loft, and a 4th huge bedroom has 4 built in bunk-beds with a large activity area for the children or adults to gather. The lower level has an additional TV room for your enjoyment.
There is a beautiful hot tub located in a Lanai setting. You can relax in the hot tub, and listen to the birds singing and the gentle wind blowing year round.
The beach front has 2 piers for swimming and fishing. There is a private blacktop boat landing right on the property. A traditional campfire circle is perfect for stargazing and roasting marshmallows. The private lake provides for days of hiking, walking and exploring with its many acres and walking trail that leads entirely around the lake. There is dining nearby, along with additional hiking trails, you can cross-country ski and snowmobile right from the front door. There are snowmobile routes very near the property, you can snowmobile to connect to them, and then there are many, many miles of trails for you to enjoy. You can even take in the local water-ski show on Wednesday and Sunday nights. (seasonal)

This cabin is everything that the website says it is and more.... We had a wonderful time and loved having the lake all to ourselves. The house is beautiful and has everything your family could want and need. We had a wonderful vacation! We look forward to visiting again in the future.

We just got back from our week at the log chalet. We had a wonderful time. The chalet was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The owners graciously supplied everything we needed. We spent the week fishing, row boating, and swimming in the warm, clear lake. We are looking forward to spending another week there next summer.

Our stay at the Chalet was wonderful. The setting couldn't be more beautiful and peaceful and if you are into fishing, well you won't believe it! The Chalet is a beautiful and wonderful space for families and the pictures don't do it justice. The owners are very accomodating and helpful and we would definitely consider renting again.
