First time stay at this condo, absolutely wonderful. The condo is actually more beautiful than the pics. Balcony is big which we liked. This condo is VERY clean and has everything you need for your stay. Elevators were fast, no problems. Couple of comments on restaurants..some reviews gave Sharky's, Hook'd a good review, we did not think the food was that great, atmosphere was good though if this is important. Both restaurants had outdoor seating which we enjoyed. Sandbar Seafood restaurant is less than half mile from condo on hwy 79 and this food was great, especially the fish tacos. Captain Andersons is the best we had, will cost about $40-$50 per person, but it is well worth it. Lobster was divine. I recommend this condo to anyone who wants a wonderful PCB experience. Even the beach was cleaner in front of this complex than all the others. Beach chairs are very nice also.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo! The description and photos regarding the property were very accurate; the unit was clean and well maintained; we would recommend this property to a relative or friend. We felt the nearby restaurants, activities, were more geared to younger families, which we are not, and fine dining was very limited. We however loved the beach, it's very beautiful! We needed a relaxing rest away from the busyness of life and this place certainly was perfect for that and met that need.

We have stayed at this condo 3 times and each time was wonderful. It is exactly as it appears on the listing and very well maintained. The owner is so helpful and accomodating, and it's obvious that she and her family love the property themselves. It is so convenient to everything the beach has to offer, yet when sitting out on the beautiful bacony, you get a very peacefuI, relaxing sense! I recently recommended the condo to my sister and her family that live up north and they will be staying in it this summer for their vacation. I would highly recommend this property to anyone whether they were looking for a quick romantic weekend or a week or longer vacation!

We had an amazing week stay at Panama Beach. The condo was very clean, cozy and well equipped. The beach chairs were a bonus! Waking up every morning to the view and sounds of the ocean was priceless. It was so nice to walk the beach up to Pier Park. We enjoyed the restaurant Hook'd which is located on the beachfront and liked the pizza at The Red Brick. The kids enjoyed flying kites and boarding in the ocean. Short car ride to Wonder Works which the kids loved as well. There was so much more we could have done if we had the time! We would highly reccomend this spot especially if you enjoy a beach vacation.

For anyone who would love a great vacation on the beach at a real nice condo, this one's for you. The condo exceeded my expectations, the entire place was decorated beautifully and the kitchen was equipped with all the amentities needed, except for food of course!! The owner was great in ensuring we had everything we needed and thay we were happy with the place. There were no worries on this trip and plan on renting this condo again when I go back to the beach!! Thanks for a great vacation!!!!

My husband and I stayed here for a month and my sister joined us for 2 weeks. This condo was very clean and had great kitchen utensils and supplies. The furniture, including the sleeping accommodations, were extremely comfortable. We visited some of the other condos on the tours they offered here and none of them compared as far as the comfort and quality of the furnishings. I especially appreciated the fact that the bunk room had a heavy curtain you could close for privacy. None of the other condos we toured had that feature. My sister really was happy with the privacy that afforded. The patio chairs were also very comfortable, again much nicer than others we saw. Internet access was very good as well. Since both my husband and I like to work out we enjoyed the fact that the fitness room was good sized and the steam room, sauna and hot tubs were great. Tidewater is centrally located but yet not in the real busy side of town. Access to great shops and restaurants is very convenient. The owner was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely book again in the future.

This condo is beautiful and very accurate in its description. We would most deffinatly recommend it to friends & family ( maybe not, so it's not always booked ) The location was perfect for us, not in the kayos but close to restaurants and activities. Family Vacation

This condo is by far the best we have stayed in. Birgit has really put a lot of thought and energy into making this "your" home while on vacation. The extras such as books, movies, a drawer full of local menus, maps etc are just a few of the extra touches. The extra beach towels and beach chairs were used daily. This condo is by far one of the cleanest we have seen - no hestitaion in climbing into bed at night for a good nights sleep. The kitchen is more than adequately stocked with dishes etc to prepare full meals or just snacks. Dishwasher, washer dryer all were used and appreciated. We vacationed with two adult young females and the location could not have been more perfect - they were able to walk to Pier Park, McDonalds -all on well lit sidewalks or even along the beach. Pier Park kept them busy shopping, watching movies (on the rainy day) and of course eating! There are too many places and attractions to mention within walking distance or within a few miles by car. We were also able to take the girls snorkling just a few minutes from Tidewater resort. Brickyard Pizza was one of the favorites - as well as the popcorn store at Pier Park. We all walked the beach several times a day to find new sea shells or just to watch the dolphins. Walking the Pier at sundown was also pretty memorable. We would without any hesitation recommend this condo to all of our family and friends. There are more than plenty of activities for children of all ages as well as adults. By far one of our best and most relaxing vacations ever - we can't wait to return!

The condo was just as pretty as the pics of it. Actually better. The furnishings are top notch and so comfy. The bed is to die for. We are now shopping around for one just like it. Family Vacation 2011

This was by far the best vacation rental we have had in a long time. The pictures are very true to the actual condo- Birgit has taken time to decorate and make use of all usable space to make the best time spent doing what we came to do " Enjoy The Beach!!" We wanted for not one thing that wasn't in our luggage or at the Winn Dixie! Truthfully, it was paradise! We can say enough about the great time had by all of our family. The beautiful view each morning to enjoy our coffee. She even has a small reading library available- I read a whole book by the ocean- How much better can it get? My daughter enjoyed the videos available and my husband really enjoyed the comfortable couch and awesome flat screen- he has knee replacement surgery so he was not as mobile as the rest of us but we did get to take an Airboat ride and hold a LIVE alligator. The whole experience was both entertaining and educational. We also visted Gulf World all of the shows are great and my husband and daughter SWAM with the dolphins. Best vacation ever!! Look forward to coming back again soon!

OH MY WORD!!! This place is absolutely wonderful... Every description was accurate and very tastefully decorated! Birgit answered all my questions and made the check in and check out as easy as possible.. This will be a must stay for my family when we visit again! I highly recommend this condo to all my friends! It was located to all the wonderful activities and attractions that PCB offer! The only gripe was the weather was not the best! But had a blast anyway!

Thank you so much for a wonderful week at PCB. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your condo as it was perfect for our family of five. The beds were all comfortable (sofa bed included) and everything was it perfect shape when we arrived. Having access to the beach lounges was a nice treat as we used them every day we were there. This was our second time to PCB as we were in town for our son's World Series Tournament at Frank Brown Park. Your condo was head and shoulders above the Calypso unit we stayed in last year. We would love to stay with you again should we end up down that way again. Thank you again!

Birgit's condo was an amazing place to spend our weeks vacation, she has a gift for decorating which made us feel very much at home. The Tidewater is a very clean resort. The beach is beautiful as well. We found so much to do in the area, took a drive to Grayton Beach and to Destin. Beautiful homes and a great outlet mall in Destin. Also went on the Sea Screamer, great tourist attraction for $19 per person. This was a boat ride with a very entertaining captain, we saw a ton of dolphins and the ride was very fun. Loved having Pier Park so close. Tootsie was great entertainment in the evening and we were able to walk there! Can't wait to go back!

Birgit we loved your place!! It was just what my husband and I needed a week away to celebrate our 10th anniversary! Your condo made us feel like we were at home! The King size bed is wonderful!! The weather was beautiful for November and the water was clear as could be our whole stay! All of these things made it very hard to go back to our cold Indiana weather! Good thing we had 2 boys waiting at home for us to return or we could have easily stayed a while longer!! We got to try a few new places to eat on this trip and loved eating breakfast at Flower Power down on Thomas Drive! Its worth going down and checking out!! YUMMY!! We look forward to bringing our boys back and staying at the Tidewater Beach Resort again! Thanks for sharing your AMAZING place with us!!

The condo was perfect; clean, cozy, and neat place. The view was just beautiful. The soft white sand and clear water was an amazing beach to rest at. The listing was accurate and the pictures did reflect the rental's appearance. Only minor defect we found (wasnt too important to us) was the dvd player in master bedroom would not play the dvds well. Everything else was at 100%. Bone fish grill was one of the best restaurants we eat at. Jetsking is available right by the condo. I recommend this property of those who want a relaxing, quiet getway but still have some activities near by to do.

This was the best condo that we have ever stayed in at Tidewater, the owner replied quickly with all the question I had about his condo. We got there it was more beautiful then the pictures, the master bedroom had sliding glass window that we kept open all night long so when we woke up we could see the ocean, lots of room. the kids loved it too... we high up but the view was worth it. Mr. Wardrop always gave me honest answers and he was truthful to me and that is a great thing. It was equipped with things that I forgot to bring (blowdryer, beach towels) had everything that you need to cook with.. Very well kept up.. the T. V.'s was in a great spot, even in the master bedroom and I'm so glad their was not much to watch or my man would still be their today watching T.V. and enjoying the ocean view... We had a wonderful 8 days here and hope to do it again next year in this same condo with the same people owning it.. Thank you so much We will be back... This is the condo to rent!!!!

Best Beach Rental in Panama City

My husband and I took our 4 and 5-year-old for a fall break vacation the first week in October and we will for sure book again. I was a little nervous about the 18th floor but it was easy to "lock the kids in" and there was no way they could get out on the patio with out us or out the door. Elevators were great and we were right on the beach, could breeze up and make a sandwich. Very nice owners. I love to cook and they had a great kitchen with all of the necessary pots, pans and gadgets. Loved the view and the condo was fully equipped. Kids loved it and loved being close to Gulf World and Pier park, grocery store etc. I would never stay in another place. Tidewater was brand new and very clean and nice. Great owners and were very helpful with our travel. Five Stars. The bunk room is great with little ones. They really liked the bunk beds. We will book again.

Spoiled by the Beach, the Magnificent Views, and the Seafood

We had a fabulous vacation at Tidewater Beach Resort, and we felt right at home with the accommodations! The condo and gulf views were even better than the photos. The weather was perfect, the beaches were gorgeous with no crowds, and the water was clear and warm and wonderful. We especially enjoyed the beach service lounge chairs and umbrella. My husband appreciated the WiFi service and the gym. The snack bar on the property had good waffles, coffee, and ice cream, and the owner brought free samples of his iced tea out to the beach in the afternoon. Our favorite restaurants were the Sand Bar (about a block west of Tidewater), Pandora's in Grayton Beach, Cafe Thirty-A in Seagrove, and of course, Capt. Anderson's. Our favorite dinners were on the balcony of the condo watching the sun set in the Gulf of Mexico. We were so relaxed and full of seafood that we did not want to come home. Next time we need two weeks to take advantage of all the amenities at Tidewater. Also, the owner was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. We're SPOILED!!

Very nice condo! The bed was very comfortable and my daughter loved the bunk area. There was no TV in the bunk room, but we brought our portable DVD player and sat it on the bed! It was so cozy!! The elevators were really slow, but that is the only complaint we have!! This is definetly a great place to stay and the owners were great to work with! We would suggest this condo to anyone! Will keep it in mind for future vacations!! No need to bring movies or games as the condo was stocked with all this, and there are movies to rent on the 1st floor! Do consider this condo!

This was a wonderful place to stay. What a beautiful home. The owners were kind and considerate when helping our family plan for vacation. We enjoyed all of the amenities provided with our condo. The beach chair and umbrella service was great. The condo was exactly as promised in the listings description. In the mornings we enjoy watching the marine life from our balcony. Our days were spent relaxing and playing in the ocean. We also visited Wonder Works and the Ripley's museum, lots of fun! At night, local restaurants and Pier Park (all kinds of shopping & entertainment) were all within a safe walking distance. We would definitely recommend this unit and location. We had a great getaway :)

Our vacation was fantastic, just like last year. No sign of oil or any foul smells. There are workers who patrol the beach several times per day to collect any small tar balls they might find but didn't appear to be any on the beach or in the water. We expected smaller crowds this year but seemed almost identical to last year. As expected, the condo was spotless and had everything we needed for a great vacation! We plan to stay again next summer....3rd year in a row.

Fantastic property...Fantastic owners, a true pleasure to work with. The unit was great and we had a wonderful experience. I was worried about the oil possibly hitting PCB and Birgit was great communicating with me on things she was hearing and articles from the local news there. The unit was extremely well stocked with everything you would need and Pier Park is about a half a mile east with a Dollar Tree for anything like laundry supplies you don't have to carry with you. The view is fabulous, we even had a sunset dinner one night on the balcony. Great location and being on the 18th floor was quiet and relaxing. Owner had books and movies and games in the unit so if you forgot something you were ok. We loved, loved, loved our trip and would definitely go back!

Beautiful views of the gulf. Very nicely decorated condo with a great location (within walking distance to Pier Park although a car is nice to have). We truly enjoyed our stay at your condo. The three nights we spent there provided a much needed break between our week in Orlando and our drive back to Kansas. Every part of our stay in PCB was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay here. Will Definitely be coming again. Condo very clean with lots of extras you don't normally get. Very close to Pier Park and many resturants. I highly recommend to all !!

Stayed May 22-28, 2010 Thank you for the use of your condo. It was pure heaven being there – enjoying the beautiful scenery, the clear water, even the Tikki Bar! We managed to find a great beignet place on back beach road, go karts, Thomas Donuts, a little Cajun place the locals eat at, walked on the pier, got [daughter]'s hair braided…….it was a glorious week.

We had a nice trip to PCB and were very happy with your condo! The ocean view is awesome. Tidewater is a nice resort with a great location, close to many local attractions like Pier Park, Rosemary Beach, Destin, etc. The two beach chairs that are provided daily were very convenient, overall we had an enjoyable experience. Loved the room. The balcony was big and we loved the view and waking up to hearing the ocean. Everything was beautiful and peaceful. We would love to stay again on next years Family vacation. the bed was so comfortable the couch was soft and relaxing, loved everything about it. the gym was excellent, and the owner (Birgit) is so sweet and nice. The condo was immaculate. Beautifully decorated. Everthing that you could possibly need was provided. The owner was knowledgable of the local area and current activities. She made herself easily available to us. The two beach chairs that are provided daily are a tremendous convenience. My family and I would definitely recommend Birgit's condo.

Hi Birgit, Just wanted to say I am appreciating you even today. What a difference it made on our arrival (last year - Jan.-March, 2009). When we opened the door and walked in, the condo had a wonderful clean scent and there wasn't one thing I would have changed (or cleaned). Right down to the balcony being impeccable. (This year) we arrived at our condo in Calypso and oh my God! what a difference. ... Just wanted you to know. Keep up the good work! Although I know it must be time-consuming, it is well worth it to your guests!
