Charleston Single house located in the famous historic district of Charleston. Excellent location for walking to Charleston's finest restaurants, shopping, museums and historic sites. For a change of pace, only a short drive to one of Charleston's beautiful beaches. There is plenty of off-street parking.
The entire home has been completely renovated and updated with fully equipped kitchen and state of the art appliances, Miele washer and dryer, Rinnai water heaters and more while maintaining the historic features of heart of pine floors, gas fireplaces, high ceilings and courtyard. The home has been lovingly furnished with antiques and fine linens for your comfort away from home.
The apartment has two master suites with private baths. One suite has king bed and the other has a queen bed. There is a shared family room and kitchen which open to private piazza for the true Charleston experience.

This wonderful place in the historic area of Charleston was perfect for my annual girlfriend getaway. The rooms are well appointed with wonderful accessories, lots of flat screen tvs and all of the living space is very comfortable. Having 3 and a half bathrooms is a big plus with a large group too. The kitchen is small, but well equipped...we ate breakfast in and enjoyed the rest of our meals out in the great restaurants of Charleston. The location is an easy walk to the battery and up to restaurants on Queen and East Bay. I would rent this place again in a minute, if I had a group that needed 4 bedrooms...It was great value for the great location.

Home away from home! This home is truly magnificent and lends you the feeling that you are truly visiting the South. The furnishings are better than any hotel, the porches are welcoming after a long day of walking, the beds are cozy and there is more than enough room for you, your friends or your family. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home. We will be back!
Owner response:Our summer tenant's lease is over this weekend, Labor Day and we appreciate the kind sentiments regarding their summer visit to our "home away from home". The home is rented the months of October and November and again the month of March of 2012

The location & house was more than I had hoped for! Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and tourist locations. I came to Charleston with a group of girlfriends for the weekend and would definitely come back and stay again. The whole house was beautifully kept and the kitchen was especially modern. Parking is plentiful. I loved everything about my stay!

Perfect location for exploring historic Charleston. The house was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Gourmet kitchens -- there are two! allow you to take a 'breather' from the wonderful restaurants that are all within walking distance. 3 of my girlfriends and I were celebrating our 50th birthdays -- it was a perfect way to celebrate. We had plenty of space to sit together and talk -- living room, piazzas, family room, in addition, to each of us having our own bedroom. Both piazzas had 4 rocking chairs and there was always a nice breeze so you can sip wine and relax.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
