We spent one week here for a family vacation. The house is very spacious-plenty of room for 10 people. The house seems brand new and is very nicely kept. The master bathroom is beautiful. We got a lot of use of the pool and it is gated off so we didn't have to worry about the young children being able to get there when we weren't looking. We received our security deposit back timely and would definitely stay again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We spent a week at this beautiful home for an extended-family vacation. Everything was exactly as advertised. The house was perfect for up to 10 people and because of the dark wood floors it was very easy to keep clean. The media room is a blast. If you are a golfer, you will love Montauk Downs. It is a beautiful course and very difficult. The house is right on the par-5 13th fairway and you can watch the golfers find their drives and hit their second shots. You do have to worry about the occasional errant drive into the pool or patio area. The beach and town are 1 mile from the house and we walked it almost every day. If you drive to the beach there is ample free parking within a block of the beach entrance. The Long Island beaches are beautiful! The area is also great for bicycle riding. As we were leaving Saturday morning, the owners arrived to clean for the next guests and we got our full security deposit returned in less than 2 weeks!

My family and I stayed here for 1 week last summer. The accommodations were as stated. The owners decided to keep my security deposit without any communication or notification. This is very disappointing, after 6 months one would expect a response. I think I'm pretty reasonable and if they had a legitimate complaint by now I should have herd. Summary: Renter beware or by insurance protection
