We really enjoyed our stay in your wonderfully appointed home. The location is a short walk to one of the nicest sand beaches on the Kern River that also offers some of the finest fishing we have encountered next to the headwater of the pool. We also discovered great hiking trails in close proximity of your home. Another bonus is the relatively short drive to Lake Isabella, we were on the water within a 10 minute drive of your home.....nice! We always enjoy a perfect ending to each day by relaxing in your outdoor kitchen/dining area. What a fantastic view of the mountains!! Can't wait to return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I took my girlfriend here for our first weekend getaway and have been back several times. The property is very clean. Wonderful character. Easy access to dining but has a great kitchen for staying home and cooking in. Great covered patio for sitting and relaxing. We drove up to 100 giants trail which was beautiful. I would absolutely recommend this property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My family and I spent Thanksgiving here and it was a wonderful holiday that we will never forget. The house is so cozy and comfy and spotless. There are plenty of great spots on the property to hang out together or to hide away with a good book. The home is as immaculate as it appears in the photos. It is a short walk to the river for fishing or hanging in the water. Lots of good spots for walks. We drove up towards redwoods and found some snow!! We ended up having an impromptu snowball fight on the closed roads, so fun!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We just returned for our third visit to Riverkern and our third time at this beautiful cabin. It's becoming our home away from home and the kids love it, too. The house has every amenity you can think of and is spacious enough for our family of 4 in just the front house. The new floors are beautiful and it's just a short walk to the beach where in the winter we watch the river roar by and in the summer we swim and lounge. Can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We enjoy this cabin so much that we booked a second time for this trip to the Kern! The cabin is cozy yet spacious. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities like home. Not only is the river just a short walk away, but we were able to get to the snow in less than 30 minutes. An added bonus to this lovely cabin is the outside kitchen along with a back house with added sleeping area and full bathroom. The night skies are incredible! Great place for the whole family to kick back and relax or play hard in the snow, lake or river!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

What a great place. The property is immaculately kept up and beautifully decorated and furnished. My family and friends spent 4 days and had plenty to do. A back house gave us plenty of space so we did not all have to cram into 1 house. A short 2 minute walk gets you down to the river, which is a great fishing spot and also has a beach. We also took our boat out on Lake Isabella, which is about 10 minutes away. One day we drove up river to the 100 Giants Redwood forest, which was incredible. A great find is the Kern River Brewing company, which also had a band playing when we went. We were so busy, we did not even have a chance to raft on the river. Soooo..... Relaxing. Already booking my next trip for next summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
