The Mountain Meadow Lodge calls to mind a time when things were simpler, slower and oh so peaceful. This traditional Lincoln log home with full wrap around covered decking is set atop of a wooded knoll overlooking rolling pastures and mountains. Inside the 1500+ square feet you’ll find warm inviting décor reminiscent of the old west. The centerpiece of the wide open space is the huge rock fireplace with bentwood rocking chairs.
Don’t worry you’ll have modern conveniences at your fingertips. A 57” Sony TV dominates the corner surrounded by a leather sectional sofa with sleeper and two recliners. Cooks kitchen fully stocked includes an island for helping or just hanging out. Don't forget your darts, professional quality boars hair dart board is a fun way to spend some time. Full bath and laundry room on main level. The loft spans half the lodge and contains two super sweet bedrooms and incredible bathroom. One bedroom sports a queen size bed and cool built-ins. The other has a king size bed with windows peering out into the forest. You might never want to get out of the au natural shower with river rock floor and rain shower head. Step out back into woods as far as you can see and you’ll feel like you’re the only folks around! Outdoor activities at the lodge include horseshoes, hiking and biking or maybe just hanging around the fire pit.
Downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, river rafting, kayaking, mountain biking and climbing are all within a 30 minute drive. If shopping, arts, antiquing, nightlife and the Biltmore Estate are more your thing then head south to downtown Asheville only 25 minutes away.
Rustic luxury awaits your party; this is not your average vacation cabin. We personally spend as much time as we can here ensuring you get the very best quality and value for your precious time off!
