Location: Casa Verde is a cozy cabin on Austin Creek in the redwood forests of Cazadero. It's just a few miles to downtown Cazadero's general store; local hangout Raymond's Bakery is slightly closer, perfect for a morning coffee and pastry run. Duncans Mills shopping & dining and the Pacific coast beaches are five and ten miles west.
House: Casa Verde sleeps four in two cheery bedrooms with queen beds and designer linens. The bath has shower only. The kitchen/dining/living room is spacious with an arched ceiling, mostly wood interior, comfortable leather couch & easy chairs, Cable TV with DVD, and a stone fireplace. A glass wall with sliders opens to a large deck which looks out on the view to the creek. The kitchen is very well equipped for the serious cook. This home has wireless high-speed Internet access.
Grounds: In one of our loveliest Cazadero settings, Casa Verde is secluded, surrounded by 1/4 acre of fenced redwood forest, with a sunny deck overlooking Austin Creek. The deck furnishings include a barbecue, picnic table and benches, table and chairs and two lounge chairs. On a striking structure of stonework terraces sits a hot tub, surrounded by landscaped niches and a secure fence. There is no safe access to the creek from the grounds.
Note: Rooster next door sometimes begins crowing very early!

"Casa Verde was a pleasant surprise!!!! The web photos do not do it justice. It's packed with supplies and has all the modern conveniences we are accustomed to. The kitchen, living room and dining room are "whimsical and cheerfully" decorated with some comfy and artistic furnishings. Very nice sized bedrooms both with tvs......added bonus was the wonderful huge flatscreen in the living room. The large fireplace, deck, the view, the yard, the hottub, the fountain....all the lights.....far exceeded our expectations. Not only will we back, we will highly recommend Casa Verde to many of our friends. Loved the private creek-side location."

Winter Rates .. Jan - Mar: 3 for the price of 2; longer bookings 20% discount
Minimum Stay .. 2 Nights EXCEPT
Summer: One week in July and August (short bookings list available after May 1)
Extended Summer: 3 Nights (Mem Day-End of June & Labor Day-Columbus Day)
Other Holiday/Event Weekends: 3 Nights; Thanksgiving: 4 nights
