view from living room into kitchen and Tree House sleeping loft - Port Royal, South Carolina Vacation Cottage It's a private tiny cabin under a huge live oak tree at 1109 Madrid Avenue, Port Royal, South Carolina, just south of Beaufort. It has an open floorplan with two sleeping lofts (access by ladder) and great screened porch with ceiling fans; heat/air, washer/dryer. The house is listed on the historic walking tour of Port Royal and is one block from waterfront Dockside Restaurant & Port Royal Seafood Company, and a half mile from Sands Beach with public landing and the Boardwalk. The local YMCA is also a half mile away--well the whole peninsula is less than a square mile. It's my favorite place in the world. Rental fees are $80 per night plus a $50 cleaning fee per visit. A well-behaved pet may come and must pay a additional $50.
