ONE OF A KIND UNIT - There is nothing else like it in the community! Redesigned & totally remodeled, it is truly a premium property. The hotel property starts one block away...easy walk to the hotel.
PRIVATE END UNIT - Located in the guard gated community of Santa Rosa Cove. Just a short walk to the historic La Quinta Resort and Spa (now a Waldorf Astoria property) where you can enjoy all that the hotel has to offer. This is a very safe secure area nestled close to the mountains...peaceful and serene.
UNIT IS LIKE NEW - Considered a "premium" unit as it was totally redesigned/remodeled by a local designer. Sparkling clean and bright with lots of natural light accenting a modern decor. Quiet end unit with a large side yard. The furnace was relocated in the attic to reduce noise and all the furnishings are new. There is a fireplace in livingroom along with a flat screen TV/DVD player & speakers throughout. The gourmet kitchen has granite counters & top of the line appliances. Master bedroom suite w/King Bed has its own fireplace, flat screen TV/DVD and elegant granite bathroom with a 3'x5' double headed shower w/temp. control and 2 sinks. Second bedroom suite w/Queen bed also has a flat screen TV with a marble bathroom w/oversized tub/shower combo. There is a newly created powder room in the hallway. The den(off the livingroom), has an office area, extra seating w/double sized sofa bed and flat screen TV. The house is one level (no stairs) with a separate laundry room and two car garage. The covered patio with large gourmet barbecue grill is all set up for outside grilling / dining / sunbathing...quiet private area overlooking a small pond and fountain.

EASY WALK TO THE RESORT where you can enjoy all its amenities - health spa/exercise facilities/babysitting...(hotel will even deliver food).
GOLF at the "Exclusive La Quinta Country Club" (just across the street) as guests of the owner. LQCC is one of the private courses played by the pros during the Bob Hope Crysler Classic. ALSO, you can play on the two golf courses in Santa Rosa Cove as they are open to the public.
TENNIS is available at the resort (for a fee) or you can use courts provided in the complex.
ON SITE are pools, tennis courts, golf courses, etc. Close to old town La Quinta. Short drive to all the surrounding desert communities. Great area for walking/jogging and moonlight strolls.

Owner Description
Visited the area off and on for over 30 years (previously lived in Seattle). Made La Quinta my permanent home in the late 80's. Remodeled the house for my son, who never did live there as business kept him in Los Angeles. So, we put it in the rental market. Since I live across Eisenhower at La Quinta CC ( 5 minutes away), I am the designated "Manager". It has been fun meeting all the wonderful renters who have treated the property with great respect. Upon arrival, they tell me that pictures just do not do it justice. It truly is a beautiful unit - one of a kind! I think it is one of the few in the Cove that was totally ripped apart and redesigned. Certainly a fun project for me as I am a local designer. Also, as Manager, it is my goal to make sure every renter has a great experience and will return again and again. Santa Rosa Cove is the best area to visit! -Kathy Laird

Our family spent a week at Christmas and found the property to be exactly as advertised. Everything was beautiful. All the resort amenities were just a five minute walk. We explored the entire valley but found very good restaurants close by in Old Town. We wished we could have stayed longer as none of us were ready to return home at the end of our week. This is the second time I have stayed at this property. It can not be a better experiance. The property description does not do it justice. I travel a lot and have used VRBO before in other states. This is by far the best I have had. I can not offer up enought praise for this property. It is located right in the La Quinta complex and is easy walking distance to many of the cafes and shops in the area. If you are a golfer, it is easy travel to a lot of courses. Looking forward to another stay soon.

Received this in an email today after I asked the renter how the stay was: "Thanks Kathy, we had a great time! And yes the weather was great, location was perfect, you keep an extremely well stocked house. I don’t think we needed anything you didn’t have on hand…. We enjoyed the resort without having to deal with the collage frat parties with 10 heads to a room, we just picked a nice quite pool for the day and then returned back to the luxury of our own space. I don’t think we will ever stay in a resort room again? Thank you so much for your hospitality, I think my wife is going to book thanksgiving soon".

My husband and I have stayed at this wonderful, clean, modern condo for the second year in a row for over two months. The owner goes out of her way to make everything perfect, there is every convenience anybody could wish for in this superb location. We love being close to the La Quinta Resort to play tennis and walk around. We would highly recommend this property to a couple or a small family. It is ideal. My wife, daughter and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this unit this January. We had a 5 minute walk to the shops at the La Quinta Resort, enjoyed the wonderful sound of the bubbling fountain near the back patio and the beautifully appointed, spotless condo.

Our family just got back from staying at this home and it is by far the nicest and most convenient home we have stayed in at LaQunita Resort. Short walk ( approx 2 blocks ) to all the resort amenities , and you will not find a cleaner and well designed home for a small family. The finishes at this home as very cool and fun and this home has everything needed for an extended stay. "James Family "
