THIS IS WHAT SETS US APART FROM OTHER RENTALS: This unit is our second home and has all the amenities you would expect to find if you were staying at the lovely home of a close family friend. Units managed by rental agencies seem inhospitable and uncomfortable. Our unit is privately managed because we want our family, friends, and guests to be completely comfortable and have the best vacation experience ever. We don’t strip our condo bare. We have beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, etc. In addition, units managed by rental agencies remove food of any sort (this even includes salt and pepper!) We offer essentials that allow you to immediately relax and get in vacation mode. It is stocked with some or all of the following: Soft drinks, snacks, salt, pepper, sugar, artificial sweetener, cereal, cooking oil, coffee, non-dairy creamer, etc.
My family has vacationed in Hilton Head for 20 years. After we discovered Harbourside and Shelter Cove, we NEVER stayed ocean front again! The Harbour has it all!! This villa is gorgeous and the open floor plan gives every room a spectacular view. Immediately when you open the front door you are "up close and personal" with the water and beautiful yachts! There is so much to do at Shelter Cove Harbour! You can take a stroll along the harbor and look at all the beautiful yachts and boats. On the first level of the complex there are over 30 shops and restaurants. The Marina features Hilton Head Island's largest deep-water yacht basin. Every conceivable water sport may be enjoyed here, from deep-sea and inshore fishing charters to sport crabbing, sail and power boat rentals, sightseeing and nature excursions and dinner cruises. Shelter Cove is the center of evening activities. Harbourfest is held from April until the end of August and has exhibits, vendors, entertainment, and loads of fun for the entire family. Shannon Tanner is an island tradition and has been performing at Shelter Cove for almost 20 years and has two shows nightly. The theater and the islands only indoor shopping mall are only steps away! Why the Owner Chose Harbourside
My family and I have vacationed on Hilton Head Island since 1988. In the mid 1990's, just by chance, we stayed at Harbourside in Shelter Cove. We fell in love with Shelter Cove and all it has to offer. The best dining is on the harbour, the best entertainment is on the harbour, the best shopping is right here! Everything is steps from your door. There is nowhere else like it! We love it here.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The harbor is the center of activity for Hilton Head Island. Shannon Tanner performs nightly and is great entertainment for all ages, but especially young children. Harbourfest is held during the summer and has exhibits, vendors, entertainment and weekly firework displays. The restaurants have great food as well as live entertainment. Every type of water sport is available here—dinner cruises, crabbing, kayaking, night shark fishing, etc. Nothing is better than watching a beautiful sunset over the harbor. The harbor is well lit and perfect for evening walks or bike rides (the rest of the island has very low lighting). Everything you need is right here—and the beach is just a mile away!

My husband and I just returned from Hilton Head and a week's stay at Harbourside II. This was the second time that we have stayed in this condo and both times everything was perfect. The condo is clean and stocked with all of the essentials that you might need and many extras that make it special. And, Shelter Cove is just an enjoyable place to be, especially in the evening. We absolutely LOVED this condo! Couldn't ask for a better location -- all the restaurants and shops within walking distance we a lot of fun. Our favorite was San Miguels (great food and even better service). The condo was clean and beautiful with a great view and really comfortable furniture. The jacuzzi was a bonus - excellent way to unwind after a day at the beach! We will DEFINITELY return... hopefully soon =)

Excellent location, lots to see, do, and great rental to just relax and take in all the spectacular scenery at the Harbour. We normally stay beach accesible but this was a nice change and enjoyed it tremendously. Jenny is a most wonderful host, always available and just simply shares that southern hospitality. Thanks Jenny for sharing your home. We will definitely consider staying again in the future!

Our stay at the condo was EXCELLENT. We loved the view and the space was beautiful, clean, and comfortable . We really enjoyed the view of all the boats and liked sitting on the balcony at night. We also liked walking around and looking at the shops, eating, and riding bikes around. Our daughter enjoyed walking right downstairs to the ice cream shop and seeing Shannon Tanner perform. The pool was nice and not crowded. We were able to ride bikes across the street to the beach which was fun. We even found a bike shop across the street to rent from. The condo was very convienient to shopping, eating, and entertainment. The owner was super helpful to us and was so kind. The condo was just as described. All in all, our stay was the BEST ever. We love HHI and we loved this place. We hope to go back next year and stay at the same place. Highly recommend. Thank you!
