This is no shack! Named after Lobster man Captain Jack himself, who’s carved likeness stands at the wheel watching over passers by. This immaculately furnished 2300 square foot, four bedroom home has ample room for a large group to sleep socialize, and just relax. Featuring spacious open Living room, Kitchen, Dinning room and Bar Area.
The two first floor Master Bedrooms are newly furnished (as are many areas of the house). One of the Master Bedrooms is located in a private wing of the house with full Master bath and Jacuzzi tub. Both master bedrooms open on to a 600 square foot Mahogany Deck with builtin hot tub, stepping off the deck to a well maintained yard.
Conveniently located in a quiet rual setting,on a private road. This property is centrally located to many activities. With the Cape Cod Canal just a short distance away,you can enjoy six miles of biking, fishing, walking, roller blade, or picnic along the busy water way. The Canal is well know for large striped bass fishing beginning in May and runing through November.
Area beach’s also near by are Monument Beach (with boat ramp) Monks Park, Grey Gables beach and Back River Estuary.
Many restaurants and fine dining establishments as well as shopping are close by. There are many family activities such as a water park, arcade and bowling alley, ice skating rink, museums, whale watching and more.
The beautiful beaches of the Cape Cod National SeaShore can be a great day trip. Other day trips could be Marthas' Vineyard island via the Ferry, Provincetown, Cape Cod light house tours, Plymouth Plantation, Plymouth Rock and Museum.
There are many area golf courses the nearest being Brookside golf club, one mile. Bay Pointe Country Club, Little Harbor Country Club and Ballymeade.
The hot tub is closed December 1st through April 1st.

We chose this property for several reasons. It came up for sale it needed a major landscape renovation a well as a interior remodeling. We live close by an thought maybe someday our children might like to live close to home. Renting the property in the meantime works out well.

We chose the house in Bourne for the central location to a number of activities. It allowed us to travel to Boston twice, to Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown and lots of local restaurants. The house was well appointed with furnishings and all the amenities needed for a great stay in the Cape Cod area. The house was cozy enough for the family moments, but yet spacious enough for ample privacy. The area around the house was very nice with the rhododendrons in bloom and the landscaping looked great. I would recommend this house for anyone wanting to enjoy a visit to the Cape Cod area.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your gorgeous home. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with three other couples and had plenty of room to gather as a group and also enough space to be by ourselves. Very quiet area of town, close to the Canal. Would highly recommend!
