We were with our 3 kids (8, 6 and 1 years old) at Bella Eden for ten days. Everything went really fine. The property was well cleaned, the photos and video we saw in internet was exactly as it is. The house is provided with everything you would need and is arranged with care. There we had even some toys and games for the kids! The owner was very nice and helped us with every thing we needed, specially a pack and play (crib), a high chair and a stroller! The location is very nice, really close to Disneyland and Knott`s Berry Farm. There are some restaurants and stores close to it. I would recommend Bella Eden for a friend and we would love to be back there. It was a great vacation.

My family and I absolutely loved our 11 day stay at Bella Eden. We went to Disneyland, California Adventure, Knotts and Universal Studios, and was happy to return to a house. Being that we are from Hawaii, we loved hearing the train go by in the distance, and it was never too noisy. The nearest grocery store is less than a mile away, and it was convenient to have a post office around the corner too, to mail things home because we bought so much goodies. The location was perfect, there is a Costco, Walmart, and the famous "dollar store" nearby. The house was fully equipped with everything and anything you could possible need, I was so impressed. The house is clean and well maintained, as if we were the first ones using it. Lucy was great and professional in handling my reservations, and putting up with my 101 questions and emails. I would definately recommend this property to anyone looking for a deal, because for the price that I paid, I got more out of these accomodations than I would ever get out of a hotel or a timeshare. You are the best, Lucy, and I look forward to coming to California and spending my days at Bella Eden again.

Our first family trip to Disneyland

My family and I recently stayed at the Bella Eden during our first trip to visit Disneyland. What was to be a fun-filled 4 days turned into my youngest son being hospitalized for 3 days and our visit extending to a week. A child being hospitalized was hard enough, I could only imagine if my two teenagers were stuck in a hotel room the whole time while we waited to see what would happen to our little boy. Bella Eden was almost as comfortable as being at home. Upon first arrival we were all so impressed with how nicely it was decorated and all the personal touches such as fancy wine glasses (which the kids loved drinking apple juice from) and a varied movie collection (which came in handy while I and my husband traveled back and forth from the hospital. My teenage son loved how fluffy the towels were, and having wifi in the home made keeping in touch with family about our son so much easier. The house was exactly as described, and I really liked that there were so many cooking utensils available, and even spices. We didn't really get to enjoy the area much considering the circumstances, but did eat at NYPD Pizza just down the road, Delicious! Lucy was kind enough to let us extend our stay and we did make it to Disneyland after my son was released from the hospital. What meant so much to me was how accomodating she was and understanding about the stress, as well as discounting the cost of the extra days we needed which definetely took its toll on the budget we had planned for the overall trip. Even with the obstacles we enjoyed our trip, my son is all better, and we have the memories of Disneyland. Someday we hope to make it back and I would definetly love to stay at Bella Eden again. I also recommend to all of my friends and family who are headed down that way to stay at Bella Eden and it's the special touches and consideration that is shown throughout the home that will bring me back.

My family and i stayed here for a weekend to go to disneyland. Not only is the location of Bella Eden close to downtown and disneyland but it is so cute and clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our girls trip and look forward to coming again and again.

My husband, son and I stayed at Bella Eden during Easter week in April. We visit Fullerton often to see my older son who is going to school. It was so nice to have a home to stay in instead of having to stay in a hotel. The house is very clean and adorable with many conveniences. All of the necessities are provided. We are looking forward to staying again at Christmas.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Bella Eden! My wife, son, and myself booked on very short notice and Lucy was a most gracious host. It was wonderful having an entire house to ourselves. My brother and nephew stayed at a nearby hotel, but they could have easily stayed with us with little inconvenience. The place is only ten minutes (really!) from Disneyland which was great for our 2 1/2 year old's first Mickey experience. I also give two thumbs up for the shower; I have been inspired to remodel my bath back home. Thanks Lucy...

Just Right!

My kid and I stayed here for a week at the end of February 2011. We were mainly in the area to visit family, and wanted our own little place to stay as a home base. This modestly-sized and delightfully appointed home was just right for us. Everything was spotlessly clean, but not at all clinical. Warm, comfy, and well stocked, we were able to operate and play just as if we were in our own home. Everything works, all parts and amenities of the house were clearly marked for ease of use, and when we had a special request for specific kitchen dishware needs, we were set up with our requested goods right away. I was familiar with the area from when my family had a house just a block west of here, so I knew about the fire station and trains in the area. I was truly SHOCKED that neither one interrupted our sleep, and were hardly noticeable during the day. My son LOVE being able to scooter down a couple blocks to see trains, and to go ride around free at the college nearby. Restaurants are nearby, lots of delightful little homes to see while our walking around, and an all-around GREAT place to stay. Not a flashy area, but so easy, comfortable, friendly and safe I'd stay again and again.

Snowbird trip to Fullerton CA

We stayed at Bella Eden for 30 days for work/leisure and really enjoyed living in a genuine California-style bungalow. Weather was brisk in the mornings as this is "winter" for Orange County. The property is very convenient to Old Town Fullerton and Fullerton College, and has easy access to the OCTA bus network. We took the bus to Disneyland and to the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, both highly recommended. The house is stocked with stylish glassware, cookware, and flatware that allowed us to invite relatives for dinner. There were also sundries stocked in the bath, kitchen and laundry room. Grocery store is only one-half mile to the East, and the landlord has provided an affiliate card. Try Polly's Pies in the same shopping plaza. Convenience to rail and bus lines comes at a cost; however, since the freight trains may wake up sleepers in the front room that are not used to city noise. The bedroom is very quiet. Property also has washer/dryer, and modem for wired and wireless internet access. The front porch is a very pleasant place to have coffee. There is also a designated parking space if you have a rental car. Thanks very much for a very pleasant and memorable stay.

Cosy cottage for family with children

We stayed at the cottage for 4 nights. I was impressed by the fact it provided filtered water, which made our lives a lot easier. Parking was convenient. The beds were clean and comfortable. Well equiped. Things to improve: 1) The TV in the living room was not connected to DVD or VCR. We wish we could watch movies while the kids were sleeping in the bedroom. 2) Single pane windows - cold (wall gas heater available but didn't want to keep it on all the time). Overall, we liked the place. We would choose to stay here again in the future.

I wish you would have considered all the extras I have in this home when you gave me a rating. I do have 2 TVs in the home, one in the Living room with the HBO and Sony Play station for the kids and the bedroom for the VHS & DVD movies. I also provide FREE WiFi I think you can agree with me for the price this is over and above what you would get anywhere else. As for the windows, so far I have replaced 80% of them with double pane in the home and I do realize there are a couple more to finish, and will be done as soon as possible. Lovely little house

We loved Bella Eden the 3 nights we were there. Bigger than a hotel room, with all the conveniences of home. Lucy's description is very accurate, cute neighborhood in Fullerton, close to Disneyland (though traveling up and down Harbor Blvd is miserable - use Lemon instead) and Knott's Berry Farm. Nice decor, kitchen well equipped, not big but comfortable for 2 adults and 2 preteens. WiFi was a great addition, and the boys even found a Playstation that we were able to connect to the TV. Thanks for the thoughtful touches, Lucy! We'll come again next time we come to Anaheim/Fullerton!

Great place, well located. Very close to Disney (around 20 minutes). Not far from LA and Passadena. We were there for 4 days, a family of 4 from Montreal, Canada, and everything was perfect with this house. Fully equipped and lots of videos/dvd for everyone. I recommend it without hesitation. It was not this house we stayed in, it was the one next to it, bigger with 3 beds and 2 bedrooms.

We enjoyed our week long stay at the Bella Eden! It was just as described and the owner was very accommodating to our sleeping arrangements. The owner thought of everything that we forgot, including sugar and creamer for coffee! We have two small children (3 & 5) and there were toys for them to play with as well as Disney movies for them to watch. I will definately recommend this house to all of my friends planning vacations in So. California. Hopefully it won't be too long before our re-visit to Bella Eden.

On my recent trip to Disneyland I was lucky to have found about this place. I was accompanied by my wife, mom and daughter with some unique needs. Just a 10 minute drive to Disneyland, the house was very comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen helped us a long way. Lucy was a great host and was always readily available with tips, suggestions and offers to help. Highly recommended!

My family just spent several days at Bella Eden for some R/R.... we had the most wonderful time!! Lucy had many personal touches for everyone, even the kids!! Lots of games, books, movies... my son got such a kick out of playing pac-man :-) The location of the house was perfect. Close enough to Disney that we came home to rest mid-day and then went back for more fun. This house is perfect for a couple's getaway or a family getaway!! My sweetheart and I spent 10 days at Bella Eden and had a great time. It is about 13 minutes (depending on traffic signals) from Disneyland and Knox Berry Farm with no freeway driving needed and convenient to the southern beaches as well. Also the Disney Outlet is nearby which can save money on gifts. Bella Eden is a charming cottage with washer/dryer & fully stocked kitchen which was wonderful and appreciated. It is perfect for a couple or a small family and feels like home with charming decor and details. One advisory is the if you intend to go north to LA, Universal and Hollywood, the traffic on freeways can be very tiring. 31 miles is a long way away at rush hours 2pm - 7pm in LA area, even using the carpool lane so plan accordingly. Thanks Lucy and we look forward to staying at Bella Eden in the future!

The home is perfect home away from home and exactly as listed on the rental site online. Lucy has paid attention to the smallest details (including toys, DVDs, books for toddlers) and was available for any questions / concerns through out our stay. our stay over my son's october fall break was GREAT! it was so nice to have a private place to stay and to be able to have privacy from each other (instead of being on top of each other in a hotel room!) everything was so nice and clean and well thought out. the attention to detail, from the take out menus (great thai dinner BTW) to the grocery disount card left on the key ring. the beach equipment and toiletries were much appreciated. this will absolutely be home base on future visits to visit our west coast family. thanks so much!

Location, Location, Location!

My family visited CA last week. My family consisted of 3 adults and 1 child. The space was perfect. The house has everything to make you feel like you are at home. Lucy was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable, and nice to come to after a long day at Disney, Hollywood or San Diego. The video of the house is great and does describe the home in detail. What you see is what you get.

Excellent Home Rental For Your Money

The home rental provided a "Just Like Home Experience". The rental price was very forgiven considering the economical pressures. Our family enjoyed the hospitality of the owner providing kitchen utensils, home appliances, and even condiments. The owner's home was very organized and cleaned. Every cabinet was labeled indicating where everything was located. The home was equipped with wireless internet and was a service we did not expect. The experience at this home was very unique because the owner provided so much extras that would not be available at a motel or hotel. Our family enjoyed and would return to this location. I would strongly recommend any family to take advantage of this rental.

this little cottage felt like a home away from home. it had all the conviences, and the atmospher was very warm and cozy. it is convienent to shopping centers for those forgotten or needed items. we will definitely book again on our next visit.

We were only minutes away from Cal State Fullerton where my daughter attends college and we were able to go back and forth easily. This little cottage can manage a small family or two couples. Home away from home. Date of stay March 2009 Perfect is what best describes our stay at this property. The owner left nothing out when it came to comfort and convenience . The house was beautifully decorated and felt so comfortable. My children loved waking up and going outside to see the parrots playing on the lines. We walked to a dinner 3 blocks away for breakfast. The food was good but the walk is what we enjoyed the most. My family and I would recommend this property every time. We will be back!!! Perfect is what best describes our stay at this property. The owner left nothing out when it came to comfort and convience. The house was beautifully decorated and felt so comfortable. Pretty as a Picture Date of stay January 2009 What a cute ,quaint cottage, looks exactly like the picture. We had a fabulous time here. Lucy went out of her way to make our stay such a memorable one. this even included buying some essential groceries for our late arrival. I traveled with three teenage children, the area was safe to travel around and Fullerton had some great boutiques for clothes and accessories. The cottage was light and cozy,had internet access and contained everything you could think of, with cupboards clearly labelled. Highly recommend to families wanting much more then a hotel. (even laundry soap and bathroom supplies) Everything is nicely labeled so you know where things are. Very close to shops and attractions- convenient location. Half hour drive to ocean front where one can borrow Lucy"s parking spot and beach supplies- added bonus!! We loved it and would highly recommend to others. Lucy We had a wonderful time here in SO CAL.It was nice coming to a cozy home after being at Disneyland all day and the beach another day. You not only thought of everything to have here but also provided items for our two granddaughters. Being in a new place it helped to have maps and how to get here and there without all the stress,you were an awesome tourist guide:) We will want to come back! Date of stay March 2008 Initially I was concern about the location of this property however I was charmed by the comfort of the cottage and delighted to find this property located in a quiet side street of Fullerton within 10 minute drive to Disneyland and the Convention center. Downtown Fullerton has a number of nice restaurants as well as a 24 hour Kinkos located just a very few minutes drive from the property for any business needs. The cottage does not have internet ( correction now does)yet but I am told that they may be available in the future. The big screen TV in the living room has a reasonable number of channels and the couch was very comfortable. The kitchen is quite large considering the size of the cottage and is well stocked with the necessary items needed to prepare nearly any meal. The dining area is very nice as it also works well as a desk or for playing cards games, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had power. I recommend this property for business and personal travel needs. Allen gave a rating of a positive 4 out of 5 points ( because of no internet at the time).
