Year Purchased: 2004
I live in Los Angeles and work in Orange County. I'm originally from the east coast and went to college in the midwest and worked in Chicago for a number of years. I moved to California the '1st time' in 1989 and then returned again in 1996 after completing graduate school in NYC. Like many transplants to the West and California in particular, I love the outdoors and consider myself fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of this country.
Why the Owner Chose Racquet Club Estates
In 2004 I moved to Colorado for a brief period and decided to buy this home so I would have an 'excuse' for returning to the desert on regular basis. It has turned out to a welcome retreat from the craziness of LA and one that I'm happy to share with other visitors to this wonderful part of the West.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo feels like a home
What I enjoy most about my home is the peace and quiet and privacy and awesome view of the mountain. During the day I enjoy lounging by the pool and at night entertaining family and friends. There are many months that I take advantage of the large sliding glass doors and live an inside/outside life with the doors wide open. In 2007 I met William Kopelk, a landscape architect who is very involved with Palm Springs historic preservation. I hired William to completely re-design the outside space and he created a wonderful landscape that becomes really special in the evening with accent lighting. It's an amazing place to hang-out on a warm Palm Springs night with friends and family.
