With a large yard and commanding view of our small private lake, our getaway is the perfect place to relax on the deck, or by the water in the hammock and unwind! Our yard is also large enough to have a family gathering, with ample room to play at the lake or in the yard, while still offering a view of both the lake and the cabin! The large trees keep the yard shaded, and since we are situated lake front, a gentle lake breeze helps keep the surroundings cool!
Imagine waking up in the morning stepping out on the deck overlooking the lake and watching the ducklings trail behind Mom on their morning swim. View geese, swans, doves and other birds and wildlife as you start your morning. View a great blue heron swoop down to the lake looking for a fish breakfast. Later walk out to the end of the dock with your pole for fishing. The lake is stocked with several species of game fish. Take a paddle boat or row boat ride on the lake and enjoy the picturesque landscape while getting your morning exercise! A great beginning to anyone’s day!
There are also numerous private parks around the lake with beaches, play structures, and swings that are ideal for children. One is just a short paddle boat or row boat ride away! Take in the striking surroundings while having breakfast/lunch/dinner on the large deck and go swimming at our lakefront! (please bring your own USCG approved life vest/flotation devices) In the evening enjoy a peaceful camp fire in the "fire pit". Roasting marshmallows is a must! (please bring your own firewood)
