Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2002

Hi my husband Jim and I were married in Maui in 2002 and fell in love with it. We make a couple of trips to Maui every year. We just returned on April 3rd 2009 from an amazing trip! From our cabana on the beach we watched for several days six whales breeching for hours. We also saw a school of at least 50 spinner dolphins playing over a couple of hours. The Aloha spirit is what keeps us coming back year after year.

Why the Owner Chose Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North

We absolutely love it in Maui! Our daughter Makaella was baptised in the ocean in Maui and it could not have been a more special time! Maui is easy to get to, just a 5 hr flight from the west coast. It is a relaxing and romantic destination. The people are wonderful to visit with, the food is amazing!! On any particular night you can find at least 6 different types of fresh fish available.

The Unique Benefits of this Condominium

The BEST snorkeling out in the ocean is just steps away from the villas. You don't have to go on a boat to snorkel, the fish are absolutely stunning! If you walk down to Black Rock just a 5 min. walk, you can also see the Sea Turtles while snorkeling. The villas are equipped to accomodate anywhere from two to six people. The full size kitchen and dining areas make it easy to prepare meals. They have a wonderful store right on the facility to purchase fresh food for grilling out. There is also 5 star resturant right on the property and the prices are reasonable! They have a shuttle service to take you to the other Starwood properties or to Lahina.

    • My wife and I have traveled to other destinations in Hawaii and Mexico and without a doubt both feel like the Westin Villas in Maui are untouchable. We stayed in the old section last year and loved it and then stayed in the North side this year and loved it just as much and maybe more. It's hard to say one was better than the other. We really enjoyed having the best beach in the world for swimmin and snorkling just steps away from the room. Right out in front there is some great coral for the snorkeling and about 200 feet down you have the most pure white sand on earth all the way out where you can just hang out in the watter and swim without touching any coral. 1st Class all the way and without a doubt the best service ever from Cheryl Vanlandingham. She made sure everything was booked perfectly and ready for our arrival. Thank you Cheryl.

    • Cheryl, The vacation was awesome. The Westin was everything you said it would be. We loved the resort, the room was great, just a wonderful experience. We really appreciate all you did. We did get an ocean view. Thank You! We will leave a comment on the web site. Also, I will keep you contact information because we will be heading back to Hawaii next year for Spring Break. We may end up renting from you again if it works out. It was a great experience.
