  This was our second year staying at the Beary Cozy Cottage and it was as delightful as the first. We experienced spectacular Fall scenery as well as fabulous cool weather. The cabin and ambiance were superb and we enjoyed sitting on the deck, sipping wine, watching the sunset, and listening to the water in the nearby creek. The owners are to be commended for maintaining such a clean, neat and well appointed property. It feels just like home. Can't wait to return next year!!

  My husband & I traveled down the Blue Ridge Parkway and stayed 3 nights at the Beary Cozy Cottage. We had a great time! The location worked really well for us and the cottage was great. The kitchen was well stocked, the place was just really comfortable. We really liked the fireplace. It was even decorated for the fall.....cute! Rosy was wonderful to book the place with also....very helpful and friendly. If we are back in the area, we would stay here again. Dean & Therese

  We were thrilled to find a cabin so close to the ski area! The short drive meant we didn't have to decide between paying too much for lodge meals or taking long drives back to town to grab something to eat. The nice wide, flat driveway was easily accessible and Rosy couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you Rosy for working with us to make our last minute ski weekend possible!

  I took a traveling therapy position in the area and rented A Beary Cozy Cottage for my 3 month contract. It instantly became my home and it was very comforting. All the amenities of home, only without family cooking. Very clean cottage inside and out. Plenty of parking for me, the motorcycle and friends I made during my stay. Close proximity to Asheville and relatively easy drives to Charlotte and Atlanta, GA. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend in the mountains or an extended stay like mine. Renter's are extremely pleasant and quick with responses to questions.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

  My husband and I, along with our two children, ages 6 and 9, spent this past weekend in "A Beary Cozy Cottage" and it was wonderful! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We had everything needed to have a comfortable stay. I basically found this cabin at the last minute and the owner Rosy was wonderful to work with. She answered all of my questions, and in a timely manner. She even e-mailed on Monday just to see if we enjoyed ourselves and to thank us for staying there. We had nice weather and plenty of room for our children to play! We hope to go back and stay again at "A Bear Cozy Cottage."

  We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It snowed the whole time we were there but we had no trouble coming and going for they keep the main road cleaned off so that everyone can make it to the ski resort. My teenage boys spent the whole time snowboarding but would come back to the cabin to eat, rest and get warm - it's that close. Fireplace was warm and cozy. Water was hot and plentiful even when the temps were below 10 degrees! And the best part, Rosy was so pleasant to work with. Thanks Rosy, for sharing your cabin with us. We will definitely see you next year!!

  The home was warm and cosy, everything you need was there! The towels and bedding were great. We took our daughter and grandchildren to Santa's Land on Friday, It was a magical place for a 2 and 7 year old! The next day we went to Cherokee to see the sights, watched native american dance, visited the bears, ate and shopped! We also took a ride to Tenn to see the beautiful leaves. It was great to have a nice "home" to return to each evening. We all loved the house and the trip! Can't wait to go again! The owner was wonderful to work with!!!

  We were very pleased with this cottage. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect - about 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and maybe 10 minutes to Waynesville. Rental was easy and owners are great to deal with.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

  We found the Beary Cozy Cabin to be wonderful. We enjoyed the house, the area, the weather. Very nice weekend away. We would not recommend the Maggie Valley Restaurant or Arf's. The large Steak House was very Good as was Joey's Pancake House. This property was very clean. I would definitely recommend it to a friend just as long as they don't reserve it for the time we want. We look forward to returning hopefully soon.

  We had a wonderful, relaxing time in the Cozy Cabin. It is in a great location and is equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable trip. We would recommend this cabin for anyone who want to just get away and relax. It looks just like it is on the website. Had a great time.-perfect location for skiing- Thanks Rosy!
