This is a great apartment in a great location. This was our second stay in this apartment. We would always want to stay here when visiting New York. It is clean, well lighted, and attractive. The photos show what we mean.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This apartment's location was ideal for our purpose. The elevator wasn't always reliable. And since the unit was on the 5th floor, this was a problem. One of the main reasons we rent a condo instead of staying at a hotel, is that we don't have to eat every meal out. The kitchen lacked some basic items, like a large skillet & spatula. A new sponge would have been appreciated. And a larger capacity coffee pot would be a welcome addition. But overall, the size and location were great & I would definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My wife Becca and I came to celebrate New Year's Eve in New York. As former NYers we were thouroughly impressed by Lincoln Center Apertment. It is huge, has a big living room, a bedroom where you can actually get up on both sides and is in the best location, right across from the Met! We ate at one of oour favorites, Fiorello's, many times and hope that we can stay with Michael and Cristina again soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We stayed in the apt for a little over a month. It was clean when we arrived and a pleasant lady came in once during our stay to clean it and the rest of the time we looked after the apt ourselves. The layout was good though very tiny for two single people. We were fascinated by the tiny kitchen where every piece of furniture fitted with < a mm to spare. The two lighters in the drawer let us know we had to light the gas stove tops manually, and that was a surprise. No plug for the kitchen sink meant we used a metal mixing dish for our small washings up. There was no dishwasher detergent and we did not use the machine at all. Fortunately, I had brought an extra tea towel. There was no dish drainer so one tea towel had to be used for that. Only two were provided. We could not find any small plates for our breakfast so used the saucers for toast and the glasses for cereal. The very wide soup plates were not very usable, but the big blue bowl was good for holding fruit and for mixing eggs. the apt needs some more usable crockery. The small saucepan we used a lot had no lid and we had to balance a large lit on its top. The bathroom basin mystified us for a few days till my son arrived home in the same building and found a way from underneath the basin to let out the water that had sat there for three days. We did not lower the plug for the rest of our stay. There is an odd divider between the little dining area and the lounge room that was my bedroom. It seemed to be blue polystyrene with holes and is probably a dust-trap. Something easier to keep clean would be worth the expense. I used the lounge as my bed and it was excellent: long and also wide enough without having to pull it out across the room. I managed with my one towel and one set of sheets - just washed and used them again each wash day. The large table in that room by the window was very useful for my writing, and best of all was the book case full of a wide range of reading. I read several of them. I found the coat cupboard just inside the door very convenient, especially as it had its own light. I have put "average" as my assessment because I realize this is Manhatten. In Australia, this would be "poor" - in isolation - but one can't really compare two very different countries. I was glad to have accommodation so close to my son and daughter-in-law and close to Central Park, the Lincoln Centre and the Metro.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing.

We stayed for 10 days at the Lincoln Center Apartment and could not have made a better choice! There was only one set of sheets for our stay, but we knew that and had a local laundry place wash and fold and after 3 hrs they delivered fresh sheets and towels for a small fee. The apartment is exactly as described in the pictures and video and we were very comfortable. The wifi worked right away and I was able to skype the kids, that we arrived safely. The location: I can only second the many previous reviews: It's perfect!! Michael and Cristina answered all questions prior to reserving astonishingly fast and there were no surprises during our stay. We will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Clean, great location, building nice & quiet. Close to plenty of restaurants and transportation, and Central Park! Perfect for using as a home-base for sight-seeing/etc. Plenty large, but not the world's most comfy sitting area... but you are in NYC so why should you be staying in! Apartment owners professional and pleasant to work with, and refunded damage deposit ASAP. Would absolutely recommend, but if you're looking for luxury, perhaps go to an actual hotel.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We had a splendid week's stay at the apartment. The location is fabulous--a lovely neighbourhood one block from Lincoln Centre, very close to Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum, Guggenheim, MOMA, the great shopping in the neighbourhood and at Columbus Circle which includes Whole Foods, lots of excellent restaurants in all price ranges. The apartment is comfortable and spacious, very clean and well maintained, and last but certainly not least, Michael and Cristina are a joy to work with--extremely well organized, efficient and helpful. We would dedfinitely recommend it.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This is a great apartment--bright, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom look recently updated. And the location is perfect--1/2 block from Lincoln Center, and 1/2 block from Central Park. When you step out the front door, there is a restaurant on your left, on your right, and across the street. It doesn't get better than this.Did you find this review helpful? The apartment was perfect for us.Plenty of room and a well serviced kitchen. Marvellous location so close to shops, metro, theatre and and course Central Park but pretty quite as well for New York. Suggestion- it would be helpful to have another set of keys for the apartment and maybe a plant in the foyer to the apartments.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/5

Its a well-appointed apartment, in a great area, just between Broadway and Central Park West... so you are near everywhere, and in a very quiet street!! If you don't want to walk (it was not our case... we walked 10 to 12 hours a day, it was really worth it!!), there's a subway station (66th St.) a block from the apartment; and at 59th St., there's another station where you can make various combinations, even to JFK airport!! You also have markets very near, open till midnight, and on Saturdays, there's a market fair just in the corner. We LOVED NY and look forward to return as soon as possible!!!! If you are planning to visit NY, don't hesitate it, Lincoln Center Apartment, is the best choice ;)Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My partner and I stayed at the lovely Lincoln Center Apartment in April 2012. The apartment is wonderfully located and is nice and spacious (for a NYC 1-bedroom in a post-war building with elevator). All the windows of this apartment in a face courtyards, so this is a quiet location (as a light sleeper, this speaks volumes for NYC) The very nice kitchen seemed recently remodeled and had all the necessary appliances and tools. The bathroom was typically sized for NYC. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful, including providing a YouTube video on how to enter the building - nice touch. The location could not be beat: 1/2 block to Lincoln Center, 1/2 block to Central Park, less than 1/2 block to the subway and bus, and 6 blocks to Whole Foods Columbus Circle. We are greatly looking forward to staying here again very soon.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/4

This is the perfect place! It's clean and convenient, it's got a comfortable bed, a bathroom with a shower that works, and a nice living room with a great desk and good seating arrangements. The kitchen is convenient and has just enough pots and pans, dishes and glasses. And the big thing: this is an absolutely perfect location. It's at the crossroads of every kind of public transportation; you can get anywhere in no time, and if you like to walk, it's half an hour to the Metropolitan Museum of Art across the park, 20 minutes to MOMA, Lincoln Center is across the street, 20 minutes to Zabars -- I could go on. Needless to say, I plan to be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for one month and enjoyed a NYC winter (as much as one can), whilst helping with the management of our newest grandchild. The apartment was conveniently located near where our son and daughter-in-law lived. It was clean, tidy and with free WiFi (to keep in touch with home). We would come and stay again tomorrow, if we could, as the apartment suited our needs perfectly. Thanks again Michael and CristinaRecommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I lived in NYC for a long time, specifically in the very neighborhood in which this apartment is located, so perhaps I'm a little biased when I say The UWS is the best neighborhood in the city. I can be completely objective however when I say that this apartment is exceptional by any standards. They have obviously given great thought and care to preparing a rental home that can provide comfort and authenticity. By NY apartment standards, this one is great. In particular, the bathroom is beautifully maintained and as any frequent traveler knows, having a clean, well lit bathroom is of paramount importance when you're staying away from home. As a long time Manhattanite, it pained me when I finally had to give up my NYC home, and on my previous visits I have usually stayed with friends and family, often in cramped or close quarters. But that has always been preferable to a hotel as I can't bear the thought of staying in a hotel in a city I will always call my home. Having found this apartment, now I feel like I won't have to. Well done. Truly. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

'This was a beautiful, surprisingly spacious apartment in a terrific building and in a perfect location for us since we were working primarily at Lincoln Center. The experience from the initial contact to the final checkout was great. The amenities were all that were advertised and we especially appreciated the free WiFi. And Michael and Cristina very thoughtfully provided a guide book filled with information about area restaurants and the apartment in general (though no direx on working the remote which was probably an oversight given all the other information provided). We encountered a few minor maintenance issues and a bit of dust here and there (my poor slipper socks, LOL). But overall, these were minor things that were probably more a fluke than anything. This apartment is a real gem. Thanks Michael and Cristina.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Apartment is PERFECTION ! It is right in the middle of everything. The subway is on your doorstep [literally across the road], the Whole Foods supermarket is just a couple of blocks away, you don't need a taxi or the subway to go to the theaterdistrict. The flat is extremely quiet, day AND night, and COOL [we had 89 degree temperatures and didn't need the A/C]. It is perfect for 2 people [more would probably be a stretch]. Highly recommended !!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Hi Christina and Michael, We enjoyed our stay at W 65th very much. We found the place clean and super convenient to virtually everything on the upper west side. The kitchen was more than adequate and the small dining area suited our needs. The living room was comfortable and the wi fi worked without a hitch. The cable TV was basic to a point; we barely turned it on. The place was very comfortable for two but three might be a stretch. We definitely plan to look you up on our next trip to New York.
