Our Cottage can be rented one of three ways.
* 3 Bedrooms with 3 full baths. Sleeps 10.
* 2 Bedroom Oceanview Cottage with 2 full bath. Sleeps 7.
* 1 Bedroom Lakeside Cottage with 1 full bath. Sleeps 2-3.
If you rent the cottage as the Oceanview Cottage or Lakeside Cottage, you will have complete privacy from any other guests. Different entrances and views for each cottage.
We welcome pets of all sizes and types. They'll have a great holiday hiking the trails and playing on the lakefront beach!
More details on our cottages...Looking out from the living room of Oceanview Cottage, you will be mesmerized by the ocean view of islands and often see seals. Step through the French doors to the 30 foot deck which flanks the entire length of the cottage. It’s the perfect setting for outdoor living, grilling a steak or feasting on lobster from the coop that is only 5 minutes away. Indoors the dining room seats 8 and the large kitchen is well-equipped. Spend evenings playing games or doing puzzles while enjoying music or movies on the HUGE flat screen cable TV with surround sound and DVD collection. Check email or surf the net while sitting on the deck!
Cottages were recently redecorated, making them even fresher, brighter and airier with all the touches you would expect in a Maine cottage. The two bedroom cottage with private baths is ideal for couples traveling together or families (extra 3 pull outs.)

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Rates from $650 to $1850 per week depending on the cottage and season. Peak Summer Weeks from July 7 to September 8 require 7 night stay. Cottages are open from April 1 until Nov 3. $125 pet fee for up to two pets. 5% Discount for those in the military and educators. Thank you! 5% Discount if both cottages are rented for the same week. 5% Discount if a cottage is rented for two consecutive weeks. 7% Maine Lodging Tax. No Reservation Fee.

Stayed in the Lakeside Cottage in the fall and it was beautiful. The setting is serene and the cottage has everything you need to enjoy the area. We had two dogs with us, who loved going for many walks around the area, including just right out the front door to the lake or to the ocean. We easily cooked meals and relaxed at this stocked cabin! Susan was a fantastic host and provided lots of ideas for places to go, suggestions for activities to enjoy with the dogs, and was very easy to work with! We loved going out in the kayaks on the lake and just watching nature surround us from the deck. We hope to return soon--maybe this time in the Oceanview Cottage!

This vacation is the best we've ever had. Even the dogs were in seventh heaven in this great 2 bedroom/2 bath home. We didn't want to leave. Great private location/very relaxing/close to everything/all the conveniences of home are just a few ways to describe this location. The lake on one side, the ocean on the other was so great. The conveniences of deck/kayaks/lawn chairs/washer & dryer on site made it seem like our home instead of someone else’s. It was 3 weeks of pure heaven from the over 100 degree temperatures in Texas. There is a great city park to take the dogs or picnic and it’s right on the water. If you love to walk, you'll love this place. Susan Morris is the best-if you have a question, most of the answers are right there in the living room table. If not there, she's easy to call or email and will get you the info. She is just plain great and so is her place. Our son-in-law and grandson came to visit and the 2nd bedroom with attached bath was so perfect. They loved it too and we weren't falling over each other like other rentals we have had.

We loved our stay in the Oceanview cottage. It's cute and nice enough to feel comfortable, but not so nice that I had to worry about my kids all the time. The WiFi is nice convenience, and the kids liked the big TV. Beware that the photos do not tell the whole story; they don't convey the smell and feel of the ocean breeze that you feel while sitting on the deck, or even while you're inside with the windows open. It's mesmerizing! We enjoyed kayaking with the kids on the lake, and hiking some of the Boothbay Region Land Trust trails, which are easy enough for small kids. Our dogs had a great time swimming, and romping in the woods. I am happy that the owner is welcoming to responsible pet owners. Overall, we had a great time, and the cottage had everything we needed. We hope to go back next year (so if you're reading this, please don't book the week we want!)

Thank you for helping us get away for a week in Boothbay Harbor. Sharon, Bella and I had a wonderful time and were able to enjoy all of the local food, views and people while we stayed at your cottage. It was a great time and we would certainly come back again. The three of us spent each day on a trip up and down the coast and one time we went inland all the way to Dover-Foxcroft looking at land. We truly had a great time with no interruptions from work and were able to unplug.
