Welcome to La Cabana! La Cabana is a delightful cottage located along the shores of beautiful Deep Creek Lake. Located off of Deep Creek Drive, the cottage is in the heart of all of the activities that Deep Creek Lake has to offer. Less than a five minute drive away are access to nearby restaurants, arcades, and skiing. NEW FOR 2010! We have added a washer and dryer to the unit plus have finished a complete bathroom renovation for the main bath.
The cottage offers a private yard and private docking facilities. With southwestern exposure on the lake, you will enjoy the sunshine until almost sunset. The yard at the lakefront features a picnic table for enjoying meals and a large swing to look at the lake and observe the beautiful sunsets. The waterfront offers a nice gradual slope into the water, making for nice swimming access. On the front of the cottage is a large deck offering wonderful views of the lake and lower yard. The deck offers a large table and chairs for outside dining as well as a glider for sitting and relaxing and taking in the wonderful views.
The cottage itself features 3 bedrooms (one queen, 2 full size beds), 2 full baths, an eat-in kitchen, living room, and separate family room. The kitchen is fully stocked with full size refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Supplied are eating and cooking utensils, including pots and pans for cooking.
For your added enjoyment and convenience, the cottage has central air conditioning, 3 color TV’s DVD, VCR and stereo.
We accept personal checks or money orders and require one half of the rent in advance to confirm the booking.

We have been renting houses at Deep Creek Lake for many years, so we know what a great find La Cabana is. The home is clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and well-equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake view from both the living room and the deck, The fenced in yard (a DCL rarity) was a true bonus, and a real treat for our dog. The central location meant that we didn't need to spend a lot of time in the car, and evening fires by the lake were spectacular. The owner was accessible and helpful -- thank you for a wonderful and affordable vacation! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The fenced in yard was great for our dogs, we loved the view of the lake, fires in the evening by the shoreline were beautiful, the house was a great fit for 5 adults and 1 child, having seperate family rooms gave everyone the option to relax how they preferred, and the location on DCL was perfect. My family & I plan on comintg back in the Spring and Fall next year.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with young children.

Our stay at La Cabana was very comfortable and cozy. The owners description is very accurate. Having 2 separate family rooms allowed book readers to be in a quiet room while the couch potatoes in the group watched TV in the other room. Having internet access was a nice surprise. The walk to the lake was a gradual slope but still easy enough for my parents who are in the 80's. Our dogs had the best time of any us. They loved the fenced front yard and laying around on the dock. At the house they would sit on the front porch and watch the happenings on the lake. Shopping, restaurants, and WISP were within a 5-10 minute drive. We hope to come back in the Fall.
