Ki Mac Ool Nah (Mayan for tranquil house), is situated on the north end of Tankah Bay. Beautiful views of our expansive sandy beach can be enjoyed from every space in this lovingly decorated home.
The main living space of this house is on the second floor, which affords wonderful views of the bay. The master bedroom with Mayan frieze of the Goddess of Water as the headboard for the king size bed, private bathroom and terrace make this space a relaxing retreat. The large kitchen and dining area in the round makes for a fun gathering place. The TV room has a full futon and private bath and pergola covered private terrace...a great place to stargaze. The large room on the lower level has a separate entrance. The beautiful mahogany doors lead directly to the sandy beach. With its' own private bathroom, exercise bike and seating area, this additional space makes it ideal for two couples who each want their own privacy. The roof top has a palapa covered bar and pergola covered couch area...perfect for sunset happy hours!
There is a large round dining palapa and shade palapa at the waters' edge.
Our caretaker will cook Cochinita Pibil for you...a delicious Mayan dish of pork cooked in the ground encased with banana leaves. There are also two restaurants within walking distance. Casa Cenote is a fun place to spend the afternoon drinking the best margaritas in the whole Mayan Riviera! Blue Sky Restaurant offers fine Italian cuisine, fresh seafood and wood fired oven Pizzas!
