Amara is the newest Condominium Residence on the Ixtapa Beach. It is located in the hotel zone within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and the unique Ixtapa Night Life! Amara has only 90 of the highest quality living units in a very quiet gated community with 24 hour security. This unit is on the 10th floor with the front door not more then 2 steps from the elevator. From this 10th floor height you have best view if the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other, with the opportunity to witness some of the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine! Let the ocean lull you to sleep with the crashing waves after a long day at the beach. Once you experience this you will want to come back year after year!
This Residence has over 2000 sq ft or 180 sq meters. You enter into a large living room and dining room with floor to ceiling glass sliders that open from either side to give you the feel of being outdoors next to the ocean while being in the comfort of your home. There are 2 master bedrooms with king size beds, each facing the ocean. The other 2 bedrooms face the golf course and have a tropical mountain and panoramic view of Ixtapa. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. There is also a maid quarters which can be used as a 5th bedroom with its own bathroom.
Guests can take the elevators from their front door down to the pool and the beach. On the way to the beach you will walk through the immaculate tropical garden surrounding the 3 pools. Guests can also enjoy very reasonably priced drinks and snacks made by Amara's personal bartender, Ricardo. Follow the path through the gate that leads you directly to the sand and the private palapas.
Once you experience this paradise of Amara-Ixtapa you will fall in love and return time and time again!

We've been to Ixtapa a couple of times and absolutely loved staying at Amara. Everything is close and convenient, the staff is very friendly, the condo is beautiful, and the bar had very reasonable prices! We can't wait to come back to this condo! Thanks for the great place to stay!

We recently stayed at this place for a week while in Ixtapa and it was amazing. All the amenities that were needed were there and it was very comfortable. I loved having private bathrooms for the bedrooms and the view is like none other. I've been to Ixtapa 8 or 9 times and usually stay somewhere different each time. I will definitely stay here again next year (if it's available!). High regard for this property!

I just returned from my 4th trip to Ixtapa and my first stay at the Amara. LOVED it! I will never stay in a hotel again. The condo is absolutely gorgeous. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated and a FANTASTIC ocean view from the 10th floor. 3 pools, gorgeous grounds, friendly and helpful staff, 24 hr security. I could go on and on. No complaints what-so-ever. Thank you Tom for letting me and my family enjoy your beautiful condo. Our trip for 2010 just can't come soon enough!
