Located just four blocks from Mirror Lake and the Lake Placid Village public beach and public tennis courts and 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, Cub Run Cottage is great for singles or families. Stroll four blocks to the shops and restaurants on Lake Placid's quaint Main Street.
Cub Run Cottage's unique three level layout offers privacy to family members or couples with a full bathroom on each level.
The main level features an eat-in kitchen, living room with a wood burning fireplace, new 46" flat panel TV above the fireplace, bedroom (queen bed), full bath, entry mudroom and a deck with table, chairs and gas grill.
The second floor has a large bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with two bunks (sleeps 4) and a full bath.
The lower level has our Moose Lake Room (den) with a television, a bedroom with two full beds (sleeps 4), a laundry/workroom (great for waxing skis!), a full bath and a small patio.

- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer : Nearby - walking distance - parking for RV/Trailers available in the Lake Placid Train station parking lot. About 5 minute walk from our condo.

Famous location where Eric Heiden won 8 gold medals in the 1980 Winter Olympics. One of only 2 outdoor speed skating rinks in the US. Open to the public for skating!

Hello! We are the Schiraldi's and we have been enjoying the Adirondacks and especially Lake Placid since our childhoods. I even bought my wedding dress on Main St. after a muddy hike up Cascade Mountain! We were finally able to purchase a place of our own in Lake Placid in 2007, and are happy to welcome you and your family to also enjoy all the terrific activities, views, adventures and peacefulness the Adirondacks has to offer!

The owner of this condo was very helpful and easy to contact. Almost feel as though I know her personally! Everything was homey and all places we needed to get to were readily available via a short car ride. The property is laid out in a very workable manner and worked great for 6 of us. Privacy available for all that felt the need with the bedrooms and baths all on different levels. Definitely would rent again if in the Lake Placid area!!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was our Thanksgiving Getaway with the family. There were 10 of us, ages 4-70. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, was a God sent. The place was great, well maintained and very clean. The surrounding area was within walking distance into town. Great stores,restaurants and sightseeing, for all ages. The children enjoyed the short trip to the North Pole to Santa's Workshop, only 14miles. Excellent customer service! I would recommed this property to a friend.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
