My husband and I drove through Sedona 17 years ago. At that time people did not know where Sedona was. It was not a very known place. We never heard of Sedona until a friend came back and raved about it. We fell in love with Sedona we wanted a better place to raise the kids (three), at that time they were 13, 10, and 6.We went back to Calabasas (Los Angeles ) put our house up for sale, It sold the first day. We looked at each other and couldn't believe it we were moving to Sedona. We purchased the land and built our special home. The views and location couldnt be better. We are happy to share this home with you. Kids are grown and Sedona has grown We still love Sedona and I know you will too. The feeling here is very special you are in touch with nature and spirit. Everyone who opens the door to the home are in awe the high 20 ft ceilings and wall of windows really make this home simple but elegant. It is hard to capture feelings in pictures this home feels great and it is great. My guests are so pleased with the home they recommend us to their friends and family.

This did not start of being a vacation rental . Everyone of our friends who came to our home always commented we live like we are on vacation. When the kids moved out we decided to rent the home and do more traveling ourselves.

Wow... what a home away from home! We miss it already~ the views of mountains, the tranquility of this special spot on the earth cannot be compared. Every sunrise and sunset reflecting from the red rocks soothed our souls. We had plenty of room for family and friends who visited and their faces as they walked through were priceless. Truly a comfortable, warm and pleasing home with the WOW factor built right in. The caretakers were always accessible for any minor issue (like handling the recyclables?), yet invisible. There is an abundance of cozy blankets for the cooler nights, clean filtered water to drink, and more than enough space to roam around on that wrap-around porch, plus it is accessible to great hiking in minutes. We hope to return again to this casually elegant home. : )

Our family of 6 really enjoyed your beautiful home. 4 large bedrooms 3 1/2 bths there was space for us all. Love the hardwood floors and high ceilings It was nice having the BBQ, enjoying dinner on the deck. Your kitchen with the long 12 ft granite island was a gathering for us all. We had a great vacation your home made our stay special. We loved hanging out on the deck and watching the sun dance on the great red rocks. This is a great vacation rental. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Bedrooms were spacious, living-kitchen area would fit a family of 10 easily. What we liked best was the way the house was built to make use of the view. The house was private, overlooking the red rocks and the city. Not only that but the floor plan of the whole house is open in a soothing and calming way. The living-kitchen area has full size glass windows allowing the indoors in. It felt as if you were in the garden. I personally enjoyed my cup of tea every morning on the deck surrounding the house. I would watch the sunrise and listen to the birds. It truly was a rejuvenating vacation. Communication with the owners was clear, prompt and easy. And as other reviewers have said you won't know the caretakers are living in the lower level. We would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking excellent accommodation in Sedona.

Perfect Girl's Getaway in Beautiful Sedona

When planning our friend's bachelorette party, we thought Sedona would be a good place for the celebration. With most of our friends living in big cities and with most of us well into our 30's, the typical vegas drunken blowout just wasn't right for us. Instead, we opted for hiking, spa time, visits to a fortune teller, and lots of chill time. Having a single place for us all to kick back was key for this and a hotel would have felt too cold. We found this property with the help of VRBO and were thrilled with the location close to trails, the huge size of the house which was plenty comfortable for all 10 of us girls, the huge kitchen which we used for many breakfasts and one fabulous bbq, and the sprawling deck which provided an incredible backdrop of red mountains while we drank wine. It was an incredible weekend and we owe much of it to the amazing accommodations. Thank You!

This house was just the perfect place for our family get-together with plenty of space for both privacy and togetherness!! It is great for relaxing, but is also close to all the activities and attractions Sedona offers. We loved our time here, and hope to get back as soon as we can.

We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers staying at the Star Gazers for 4 days. The house was perfect. Since it was 1 story, we had no problem with our kids running around, and there was plenty of space (3,000 SF) for us to spread out in the kitchen and living areas. The bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for each couple to have some privacy. Having a nice spacious kitchen was perfect for family meals, especially breakfast. The property itself is very private but not too far from town. It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown Sedona. There is a nearby hiking trail (Thunder Mountain) that was ideal for a morning hike, and any skill level. The wrap around deck is a great place to spend the evenings star-gazing or just relaxing. Owners Goldie and Marc were very kind and easy to work with. We very much enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back again soon. The price was very reasonable and the home was very cozy.

Six retired teachers from Vista, Oakdale, Encinitas, Costa Mesa, and Las Vegas met at the Star Gazers' Delight in Sedona for the most delightful 4 days and nights. Besides enjoying the wonders of Sedona and all the fabulous shopping, our time at this beautiful home was truly a delight. We spent hours around the dining room table eating and playing games, and more hours outside on the patio talking and taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The kitchen was so grand and allowed us to cook gourmet breakfasts and serve on different tableware every morning. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we had plenty of bathroom space. We even enjoyed hearing the coyotes howling in the distance in the middle of the night. And, of course, the stars were beyond description. Thank you, Goldie, for allowing us to share your home. You were so kind to meet us when we arrived and fill us in on all of the particulars. We had a really great time. Nancy, Jeanne, Betty, Sharon, Brenda, and Sheri.
