Drive down a wooded, winding two-track to a 50's knotty pine and log interior cabin located on 3 acres and 100' of private sandy swim area. Enjoy your morning coffee with the sunrise on the deck. In the evening, listen to the Loons while eating s'mores at your bonfire on the beach.
The cabin has an enclosed front porch with large windows overlooking the lake. The open living room- kitchen area makes a great space to gather. There are two bedrooms with new queen pillow top mattresses on the main level. Upstairs in the open loft are 2 singles and one double bed.
There are easy steps to the private beach area that has a gradual, sandy bottom great for children swimming and all water sports. There is a dock, and a 3600# boat hoist for those with a boat. Boat rentals are also available in the area. The clean, sandy 7 mile, Long Lake is a special all sports lake with great bass fishing and 5 islands with trails you can explore.
This private paradise is 8 miles from bustling Traverse City which hosts the Cherry Festival,and Film Festival. It is 8 miles from Interlochen Music Camp with its weekly summer concerts. Let's not forget the wineries that dot Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas, and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
There is so much to do or see, or do nothing at all in this magical spot on Long Lake.

About the owner: I am a retired business owner from downstate who has always loved the Traverse city area and has owned property in the area since 1973 and now lives here.

My cabin truly has the up North feel of a get away from it all place. Its warm interior of log and pine walls on a secluded lot says it all.
We enjoy the sandy swim area, bonfire pit, starry nights, and the sound of the loons. It is my home.
