What a wonderful home away from home for our family! There are 5 of us and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. It was very clean, had everything you could possibly need, and the beds were a dream!!!! It is a short trip to downtown and the walking trail that is close by is really beautiful. Norma was very sweet hosts and we would love to stay there again! You will love the decor throughout the house, it is cozy and fun!. It is the perfect spot for a getaway!

After renting Taylor Cottage last year and having a wonderful experience, we decided to rent Crescent Shores this year as we had more family joining us. Once again, Norma and Dean were amazing hosts. The cottage was truly fabulous, with everything we needed to have a great family vacation. We appreciated all of the information on Holland that was available, and the beautiful decor of the house. The master suite is enormous, and has a beautiful view of Lake Macatawa. We love the location of both Taylor cottage, and it's neighbor Crescent Shores. So close to downtown Holland, wonderful walking/biking along the Lake to Kollen park, and a very easy drive to any of the Lake Michigan beaches. A special thank you to Dean for coming to our rescue at a moment's notice, and saving our steaks-on-the-grill dinner with an extra propane tank!! See you next year!

Dean&Norma are very kind and considerate cottage hosts. It was a great experience for my parents' Trip to U.S.A. I am originally from Shanghai, China, a Purdue student. The peacefulness of Holland really impressed my parents and gave my parents the best relaxations during their vacation. I really appreciate Norma's help and kindness. We would love to going back anytime in the future.

The pictures posted online do not depict how large the cottage is. We stayed with 6 adults and 4 children without feeling like we were on top of each other. We also had a wide age range, from 5 years old to 70 years, and it was perfect for everyone. The amenities of the cottage are great, all kitchen utensils are there, extra pillows and blankets, toaster, blender, and books to read. It really does have everything. It has so much natural light streaming in and is very open with a relaxing feel to it. It's beautifully decorated with a beach theme. It's very clean and well maintained, even the flowers outside are beautiful. The cottage is perfectly located across from Lake Macatawa and there is a great trail which starts down the block and lets you walk by the lake. The walk is a perfect end to every evening. The cottage is just a 5 minute drive to the downtown Holland shops and a 10 minute drive to the beach. There's so much to do in the area. Norma and Dean are wonderful hosts. They really make you feel like family and are so welcoming. They even let us use her pool, which my children just loved. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. There are brochures by the front door with area attractions and restaurant information. Norma also gave us great recommendations of places to try. We will be back next year, I'm already looking foward to it.

Our group of 6 adults and 7 children enjoyed a great week at Crescent Shores Cottage. The house is on a very quiet street with beautiful views of the lake; very convenient to the bike/walking path along the lake to the park. The home was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed most of our dinners outside in the back yard, where there was ample seating for our large group. We had 2 rainy days, but the kids loved visiting the Holland Aquatic Center for indoor swimming and fun--only a 5-10min drive from the house. Norma was very helpful throughout the entire process, from the planning of our trip, during our stay, and even after our return home. Thank you, Norma, for hosting our family, and for making your beautiful pool available to us!

Two couples spent 3 lovely nights in Crescent Cottage. We were extremely pleased with the location and the "superb" condtion of the private residence. It is no wonder why "Crescent Collage" is the "go to" vacation rental in Holland, Michigan. Everything that one would need to spend a relaxing vacation is provided by the owners. Also, if you are visiting friends, relatives or conducting business in the wider Holland area, Crescent Cottage MUST be your choice. Without a doubt in all of our minds, we will be telling our friends and relatives that Crescent Cottage is "THE" rental location in Holland. Good health & keep walking!

Absolute love at first site! Planned a last minute New Year's Eve mini vacation & wanted to stay in Michigan. We found this home online and was in for a surprise. Pictures tell only half the story. The cottage is PERFECT! Just when I thought we forgot to bring something, we found it in this home. No stone left unturned and no details left out of this cottage home. Within 24 hours we began to plan our next vacation here in the summer. So many bells & whistles including the keyless entry; however, couldn't figure out how to use it but the landlord came within minutes of us calling to show us how to use it.....boy did we feel like dorks! I will promise anyone this...you won't like it......you will LOVE IT!

Our stay at Cresent Shores was perfect for our family. It was just what we needed to accomidate our children and grandchildren for a family wedding in the area. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The kids had fun swimming and playing with the games in the basement. We had a very relaxing visit in Holland.

Thanks to Norma and Dean for exceeding expectations with a vacation rental...what a beautiful home, and very clean upon arrival! Our family (5 adults and 4 small children) enjoyed a weeklong stay at Crescent Shores. Everything about the house was perfect - the layout, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice decor, good location, quiet street, etc. I'd recommend the cottage to anyone and would choose to stay there again on a future trip to Holland.
