Come stay in the most beautiful home in the Maui Sunset Resort. You will have an unbelievable, unobstructed, view of the ocean right out in front, the West Maui mountains, and the island of Lanai. You will experience the whales breaching during the day and the on-fire sunsets by night, all from your huge private lanai (deck).
Our 3 bedroom unit is the ocean end unit on the top floor. There is only one other unit in the whole complex that is this spacious. The location and layout make it very quiet and private. The huge master suite has surround, ocean view, windows; a private vanity with "Rainforest Green" marble counter; a roomy queen size bed, and includes a true "corner office with a view". The other master bedroom has it's own private bath,and luxurious California King bed; and a beautiful view of Haleakala, Maui's 10,000ft mountain. The third bedroom, we call the "Tropical Green Room", is very spacious with twin beds, full bath across the hall; and a view of Haleakala as well.
We have spent an entire summer turning our place into a home, instead of a typical vacation rental. Everything has been upgraded. We have a beautiful new kitchen with custom maple cabinets,"Ariel Green" granite counters; new appliances, new flooring, and creative artistic lighting.
There is new furniture throughout. Our theme of "Pacific Rim" decor includes highlights such as; crushed-bamboo tables and chairs from Bali, solid teak and mahogany from Indonesia, and custom cherry built-ins from the good old USA. All the different woods make the rooms warm and inviting. The living room has comfortable all-leather seating, that has a front row seat every night for the sunset. We put in new floors, doors, lighting, fans, paint, stain, marble vanities, and all the other details that make it a home. It is now very upscale, yet very comfortable.
Our home is the perfect central location for all of your Maui activities; whether it be a luau in Lahaina, hiking in Haleakala or a sunset dinner cruise. We have whale watching, windsurfing, kiting, and beach walking right outside your front door; as well as tennis, volleyball, putting green, shuffleboard, and barbecues. We have one of the nicest pools in Kihei to work on your tan and read a good book, or go for a refreshing swim. The pool and hot tub are beautiful at night with the stars out and the torches lit.
Our home comes fully equipped and ready for your vacation. You should find everything you need to make your stay perfect. There is a full size washer/dryer in the unit for your convenience. We even have a "toy closet" with boogie boards, tennis rackets, beach towels, and more.
You are only a couple of blocks away from grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and Starbucks. If you like to walk, you can walk along the beach, or a quiet back road, that take you to the nearby stores. For multiple activities in your group, there is now a public bus that stops at the entrance to the Maui Sunset Resort, that services most of Maui.

We recently came home from 10 glorious days in Maui where we stayed at this beautiful condo. It was so much more than we ever expected and felt right at home from the moment we stepped through the door. We loved how central it was to everything on the island and spent long hours exploring both near and far locations. Above all the beauty we saw on the island, the most beautiful of all was coming "home"! The condo had everything we needed, my kids LOVED the pool and we all lost ourselves in the amazing nightly sunsets. Janet was such a pleasure to deal with; although we have never met, i feel like we were long lost friends. We miss Maui and the Maui Sunset so much; we are already planning our return in 2014! Thank you Janet for everything, you are truly lovely and so is your wonderful home.

Our hearts are sad because we have to leave today and go home. We have had an absolutely magnificent stay in your wonderful condo! You have thought of every last detail to make us so comfortable and happy here. Hear are some comments from our grandchildren, ages 11 & 9: " great views, super tennis, shuffleboard and pool fun, loved our own room, the lanai, playing football and catch on the grass, watching the kite surfing, great TV & music AND Totally Awesome!!" To their comments, all the adults want to add Ditto! We all want to return and spend a whole month! Thank you for a great time.

I never dreamed I would get to stay in this unit again with my aunt and uncle who brought me to this paradise the first time in 1999. Thank you for the thoughtful gift basket with all the special goodies. The personal note was so nice too. Everyone was so amazed at the new remodel and loved how you decorated everything. It has truly been a wonderful week here and I'm sad to go back home to cold Washington. The sunsets are like no other place I've been and I will have to send you some pictures. On behalf of me and my sister and her family, we say a special thank you.

We have enjoyed many beautiful sunsets on the lanai during our stay! We have stayed in this unit many times before, but we have been very blessed to stay in your awesome home this time with all the fabulous changes you've made. Every room is thoroughly equipped with everything you could possibly want or need! Thank you for giving the unit so much TLC. The drapes & carpet with pineapple and palms is just the right touch to complete the picture! This has truly been our home away from home with family and friends! What a fabulous way to spend our Thanksgiving week - we could have easily done a second week, if not for having to go back to school! Your place is lovely; for people that never like to "eat In", we ate in almost every evening, enjoying the fabulous views. Your home has every comfort of home and we were able to relax and enjoy totally. We hope to be back very soon! Thank you for your lovely hospitality! The twin beds were awesome and no problem at all to put together:) We appreciated all the info you left along with the treats. We snorkeled pretty much every day and enjoyed the sunrise on the volcano, a luau, and a two hour boat tour to see whales up close.
