Welcome to Palmetto Paradise.....
Is your family looking for a relaxing place to have a wonderful vacation? Our beautiful home is located in Oceanside Village which is a private gated community with 24 hour security, lakes, pools, and a park. Our home has been completely updated and is newly furnished.
We have a large deck and patio which overlooks the lake. There is a relaxing backyard where you can enjoy a quite afternoon in the hammock or wet your hook and fish.
Our master bedroom has a king-size bed and adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a futon. The third bedroom has a queen and futon. The additional bath has a full bathtub. There is also a large living and dining area. Our kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, toaster, blender, garbage disposal and coffee maker. All appliances, dishes, and cookware are new. We have a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We also have wireless internet.
There is a garage with parking for two cars. A golf cart is provided for easy access to the pools and beach. You must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license to operate the golf cart. We only rent to families who are 25 years of age or older and there is an ABSOLUTE LIMIT of 8 people and 2 cars.
We provide bed linens and bath towels or you can bring your own. The only thing you really need to bring is your beach chairs and beach towels. The house is non-smoking but we allow smoking in outside areas. No pets. There are no hidden fees. Rental includes taxes and use of the golf cart. If you clean there is no cleaning fee. Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am. We require a $200 deposit at the time of booking and rental payment is due 30 days prior to the reservation date.

A $200 deposit is required upon time of booking. No refunds for cancelations.

We have vacationed at Oceanside nine times and this was by far the best of all. "Our home" as we referred to it was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We loved having coffee or breakfast on the deck and feeding the ducks daily. The golf cart was an added enjoyment and greatly appreciated. It was our first time VRBO and Sylvia and Danny made it an easy choice. They were available to answer any questions we had and made us feel very comfortable with our decision. We are looking forward to our next vacation at Oceanside and of course it will be Palmetto. Thanks again for letting us use your beautiful home.

This home is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! We felt at home from the very first day. The home is clean, comfortable, and well decorated. Filled with everything we needed and then some!! The home was roomy and the beds were very comfortable. We loved feeding the ducks and fishing. Our vacation was very enjoyable and our deposit was returned quickly!! Thank you for opening your home to us. This was our best experience yet in Oceanside Village. We look forward to spending another vacation in Palmetto Paradise soon!

1st Bad Experience at Ocean Side Village!

Owners will keep your Deposit without even notifying you. I have called more than 5 times to the house and to Their Cell Phones but they will not return calls regarding Deposit. No Explanation at all. Not much of Property Managers. The house was invested with Ants, Crawling all over the counters, Air Filter had not been cleaned and was clogged up. Ocean Side Village is very nice and I have rented from Plenty Others but Stay Clear of this house and Couple that owns it! You will end up paying your rent for the week plus the deposit that was sent.
Owner response:These patrons were in total violation of the terms of our rental agreement. Our agreement states that if there is damage or if the house is not left clean, the deposit will not be returned. We have a property manager who checks the house after each guest and she reported that the towel rack in the bathroom was pulled off the wall and food was left on the counters in the kitchen. We tried to contact the guest several times with no response. As for ants, it's simple, if food is left out, they come to it. Our property manager thoroughly cleans the house after each guest and we offer a very clean house at a great value. Also, we charge a very minimal deposit as compared to other property owners. Please view our other comments for a true and unbiased opinion of our property.

The Starnes' beach home was amazing! It provided everything we were looking for and was clean, comfortable, and and well-stocked. We loved the golf cart and children enjoyed feeding the turtles, fish, and ducks in the pond out back. We will certainly return next year!
