Outside View of Cabin - Murphy Cabin Rentals Come and enjoy this recently-built 2 bedroom/2 bath Chalet tucked away in the Smoky Mountains on 2.67 acres, located in the gated mountain community of Five Forks, in Murphy, North Carolina. This fully furnished, tastefully decorated, and completely stocked cabin will provide you with all the comforts of home. Surround yourself with the best nature has to offer, year-round views, and just about everything you could think of doing outdoors. If you choose to stay indoors, you can enjoy the comfort and warmth of the fireplace along with a view of the mountains. Come relax or explore the Tri-State area (North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee). Easy access to the cabin just minutes from GA515 or I-64/74 from NC. ALL ASHPALT ROADS lead you to the cabin, NO GRAVEL ROADS! Don't overlook this very important feature, all it takes is one towing bill to help you realize that it is better to sacrifice on something else and not the safety of your family. Our cabin features 2 large bedrroms with 2 equally large bathrooms. The Master Bedroom is located in the loft of the cabin. It has a king bed, two nightstands, dresser, chest, 22" LCD, DVD player, walk-in- closet, desk and a sitting area. All of this, with a view of the mountain and overlooking the dining and living room. The second bedroom is in the main living area, it features a queen bed along with a trundle that converts to a king, nightstand, dresser, and a walk-in closet. This bedroom has access to a covered deck thru a double glass door that wraps around the entire cabin. The laundry is also located in the main living area and features an extra large capacity washer and dryer plus additional storage space. The second bathroom is located across the hall from the bedroom just past the laundry. The kitchen is spacious and equiped with all the necessary things to make you feel at home. It has an island/dinette area, great for a quick bite. It truly feels like a gourmet kitchen. All stainless steel appliances and counter top aplliances are brand new. There is a 30,000 BTU gas grill that is also brand new. The dining room seats eight, and service for ten is available. The living room is next to the dining room and you'll have a large sofa and chair to relax in while you watch the 32" LCD with Directv Satelite Service(150+ channels) hooked up to a surround sound system that includes a DVD player. You'll enjoy this setting to the comfort and warmth of the fireplace with a view of the mountain. The fireplace is constructed of stacked river rocks with a beautiful wood mantle. This cabin is truly up to date with all the modern marvels, they are there for your use, the choice is yours to use them. If relaxing in or around the cabin is what you would like to do, then help yourself to the board games, cards, electronic dartboard (basement), enjoy the picnic area, connect with nature and take a hike along our private trail, hop on to your ATV or golf cart and go for a stroll through the development. Within 15 to 30 minutes from the cabin you can enjoy some of the local area activities and attractions: * White Water Rafting * Hiking * Fishing * Boating * Hunting * Swimming * Mountain Biking * Horseback Riding * Mineature Golf/Arcade * Breathtaking Waterfalls * Museums * Antique Shops * Historic Churches * Lakes * Decker's Flea Market * Moose Hollow White Water Raft in Nantahala River in Nantahala Gorge and The Ocoee River (Site of the 1996 Olympics). The cabin is located in between these two National Forests, just a short drive away. And within driving distances for great day trip: * The Biltmore Estate in Ashville * The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Siteseeing, Hiking,etc..) * Gatlingburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood (Skiing, Shopping, etc..) * Maggie Valley * Atlanta (Georgia Aquarium/Coca-Cola Museum and Stone Mountain) * John C Campbell Folk School * Appalachian Trial * The Highlands * Alpine Village in Helen, GA * Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest * Chatanooga, TN * Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino * A number of Dams (Nottley, Hiwassee, Fontana...)
