The house which was built in 2002 is situated at Ruby Bay about 35km west of Nelson City. The dwelling is on a 2780 m section with magnificent views of the Richmond ranges over Tasman Bay, Rabbit Island and the surrounding Ruby Bay environment. Walkways provide pedestrian access to the native bush which adjoins the property and which is home to various species of native birds.
A courtyard provides privacy and is ideal for outdoor dining & barbecuing and has a spa pool. All windows are double glazed and the living is open plan. the main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and the views from this bedroom and bathroom are stunning. The climate is mild with the most sunshine hours in New Zealand. Wineries are very close at hand and there are several artists' studios in the vicinity. It is an ideal base for access to the Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park and the Nelson Lakes.
