  What this casita lacks in space it makes up for in decor. The owners have cleverly utilized the space by placing the fridge,toaster oven,microwave in half of the clothes closet along with dishes and glasses. The bathroom sink doubles up as the kitchen(with washing up bowl) and underneath the sink are the pots pans and kitchen utensils. There are even trunks underneath the bed that double up as extra coffee tables! There was no wifi for the 7 days we were there but Diane told us we could use the library at the clubhouse a few minutes drive away. TIP:if you go to the admin building you don't even have to get out of your car. We could use our iPad without a password in the parking lot. We weren't sure about sleeping on a foam topper and whilst it sits on top of an older mattress it was actually quite comfortable. bring your own coffe/tea and toilet rolls. There are a few condiments left by other guestsThe linens and towels have seen better days but the casita itself is in a nice quiet neighbourhood.

  Owner response: I apologize that our guests were unable to connect their new tablet to our WIFI. In the years we have rented we have never had a guest unable to connect. The WIFI was not down. I offered to call the cable company to get them connected (their tablet was reading something about software needed). The guests declined saying it was too much trouble and chose instead to go to the clubhouse. The Casita is always initially supplied with a few rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. Food and additional supplies are always guests responsibilities as with most rental units. The linens and towels are in good condition. They are neither tattered nor torn. As owners we know that all guests have their own expectations and that we can't please everyone (although we do try). We often get 5 star ratings on VRBO but if guests want a 5 star HOTEL experience they need to stay in a 5 star hotel where one will pay for it. We never falsify what we are, a well appointed, quaint, comfortable, reasonably priced, southwest studio.

  I spent a month at the casita and it was a perfect place for me and my needs since I had friends in Saddlebrooke. I participated in golf lessons, lectures, workouts in the 2 exercise facilities, many hikes with the hiking club and enjoyed the January blue skies and gorgeos sunsets!! I loved the chimenea but did not see the pool because of the very cold weather while I was there. Diane was very accurate in her assessment of her place when I asked if it would work for me for a month!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+.

  This was perfect for us! Loved the courtyard and the casita was tastefully decorated and just the right size. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Only wish I could have spent more time there enjoying it. Extremely clean and well maintained! I will recommend this to other friends coming to the area.

  We stayed here Thanksgiving week. The Casita was spotless and had all the amenities one would need. Diane was most gracious. We highly recommend this! Great alternative to hotel. Beautiful!!! Thanks and see you next year:)

  The casita was spotlessly clean, decorated beautifully, and in a great location. The pool was close and Diane's bike was available. I appreciated having wifi access as well.

  Had everything you could need, clean and great location. Lots of Entertainment (Exercise, golf, and great restaurants) available and nice people!

  Excellent alternative to staying in a Tucson/Oro Valley hotel when visiting Saddlebrooke. The casita was clean, very private and had everything we needed. Diane was helpful and respected our privacy; definitely recommend if visiting Saddlebrooke.

  We were very pleased with the renlal. It was quiet, peaceful and in a very safe neighborhood. The rental was immaculate, thoughtfully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. There were lots of little "extra touches" that made our stay more comfortable. We would definately stay again and would recommend this rental to our friends.

  We enjoyed our week stay in the cute casita. It was very clean and had alot of amenities. There is a courtyard to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains. The owner was very easy to work with, respected your privacy and very helpful.

  The Casita was an excellent base for my stay in the Saddlebrooke area. Very cosy and contained everything I needed to make my stay there an enjoyable one just before Christmas 2008. The scenery around is breathtaking and all the Saddlebrooke sports/leisure facilities are excellent. I would love to stay there again and would highly recommend it to other potential guests.
