Great house, perfect weekend!

My husband and I stayed with two other couples at the house for Masters Week/Easter weekend and had a blast. The house is beautiful - what an incredible view as soon as you walk in - and even better than it looks in the pictures. The owner was super helpful in setting it all up, getting us guest passes for the gate, clear directions, etc and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We did take out from Holcomb's barbecue in Greensboro one night (YUM!), cooked out on the grill, and went to dinner at the Ritz during our stay. The house is very convenient to the hotel (about 7 minutes drive) and to the nice Publix nearby, so it was easy to stay in or go out. It was also an easy drive to Augusta for the tournament - about 1hr15min on the highway. We didn't end up playing golf, but the house would have been super convenient to any of the courses at Reynolds. The bedrooms were all really comfortable and perfect for 3 couples since we each had our own bathroom. Would be great for a family too with the extra bedroom with two twin beds. The kitchen was great and sitting out on the porch and on the lawn was awesome, especially in the evenings. My husband's family lives nearby, so we did an Easter Egg hunt for my nephew on the back lawn which was a perfect spot! The only small point of improvement I would say is that it wasn't the best for cooking out. The grill is sort of to the side of the house, so the grill chef is kind of by him/herself over there and not hanging out with everyone else on the porch. But, we obviously managed.. Thank you to Jeff for a fantastic weekend!!! It was the perfect spot for a reunion with friends.

This beautifully decorated and spacious home was perfect for a girls weekend getaway. Seven of us girls enjoyed the view of the lake and the serene community that is perfect for walking. We would love to stay there again.

Wonderful Family Weekend

Our family has been visiting Lake Oconee every summer for the last 18 years. Now that the children are grown it was a real treat to enjoy a weekend together. This home was one of the best properties we've stayed in yet!! The attention to detail and the location is top notch. All of the homes many special features and upgrades make it a property we will definitely stay in again.

Awesome Family Summer Vacation

We rented this beautiful home summer of July 2011 for our family vacation. The home was absolutely beautiful both inside and out. The homes furnishings were very stylish but comfortable for a vacation on the lake. Everything was provided by the owners and phone calls from them checking on our comfort made us feel very welcome! The views were stunning and nights on the boat dock were so relaxing. Reynolds Planttatiom has many amenities to entertain from golf, swimming, tennis, fishing, boating and biking. We will be back and hope to stay with in the Stewart's home again.

Our family had a great visit in this lovely home! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Large areas for the whole family to be together, but plenty of other quiet spots for tranquil moments alone or with small groups. Our boys loved fishing from the dock and Wii in the bonus room at night. Great neighborhood area to walk in the mornings. Beautiful views from the house and from our boat - we didn't want to leave and ate every meal in the spacious kitchen/dining area other than a lunch at Gabby's By the Lake at Ritz Carlton on the day we arrived. Enjoyed cooking with the whole family participating. Owners were very easy to coordinate with and really wanted us to have a perfect visit. We will be back!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway...Close to Atlanta!

"Peaceful Retreat" is a beautifully decorated elegant lakefront home with amazing water views. The minute you walk in the front door you are treated to Lake Oconee at its best. The rooms are all large, with a wonderful flow. There are several sitting areas with full open water views, a great kitchen, a pool table, and a whole house audio system and big screen TV. There also are bedrooms upstairs and a bonus room away from everything else for private enjoyment.We enjoyed a very spacious master suite, awakening to a beautiful view of the lake each morning. It was great fun sitting by the dock late afternoon, being entertained by the passing boats. Reynolds Plantation, itself, is just beautiful with a marina and various clubhouses as well as the Ritz Carlton Lodge. We took the complimentary water shuttle to Great Waters for lunch and had a fantastic time. The owner was gracious and accommodating. Dinner at the Ritz Carlton was a special way to celebrate our anniversary. For delicious Italian food we recommend Hugs restaurant which is near by. The photos of the house...don't quite do it justice.This would make a great corporate retreat or family reunion headquarters. We would love to return in the fall!

We spent a fabulous long weekend at Peaceful Retreat with friends and their families. This house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation - plenty of sleeping space, great spaces for entertaining, a bonus room that was perfect for kids watching a movie while adults visit, a great yard, and a nice size boat dock for swimming and fishing. We look forward to visiting again!

We were able to spend the fourth weekend at this wonderful home. We had seceral family members in and out over the 4 days we stayed. This truly is a small piece of paradise and we all had a wonderful time. The house is everything it claims to be and Jeff is a wonderful owner host who took care of our every needs. Your house was a wonderful place to be with family during Thanksgiving & Birthdays. The pictures on the website do not do justice to the reality. The views of the lake from almost every room of the house are breathtaking! We will take a lot of great memories with us.

We spent the Labor Day Holiday at the Stewart's home and all my guests and wife could say was OH MY GOD...... The pictures on the web-site simply do not afford one the real beauty and elegance of this home. From the moment you open the door and step in the foyer, the calmness and serenity of the water begins a transformation into another world. As only a cook would reflect, the kitchen is not only state of art, considering the utensils down to the serving dishes are what one would expect only in a five star restaurant. Being renters of numerous homes, cabins, etc. via VRBO, this home is creme de la creme. I beg of you to relax, enjoy the spacious bedrooms, not to mention the designer appointed master suite and I mean, SUITE!!!!!!! Notwithstanding the openess of the entire first floor make entertaining an enjoyable and relaxing experience for all, from the pool table, surround sound, large dinning room table, and the sun room overlooking the lake. The close proximity to boat and jet ski rental(s), and the beautiful view of the Ritz Carlton made this stay more enjoyable. Not only could we enjoy the lake, but could dock at the back of house on a very large and accessible private dock. As Jeff stated, it's hard to LEAVE. We wiill be back sooner than later. Thanks again for sharing your home and a tip of the hat to all the splendor it affords. In closing take your camera and enjoy the sunrise and sunset as they are picture perfect.....

As I sit here to write you a little thank you message, I am savoring the last moments of a wonderful and memorable 5 days at your beautiful home. This house on the lake is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for allowing us to come and enjoy it. I thought we were close to nature at our home, but we have met nature in a different way here.
