Uniquely situated in a beautiful, tranquil mountain meadow, the cabin is perfect for a short getaway or an extended stay in one of the most beautiful and historic areas in Virginia. Guests enjoy breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Alleghany Mountains, the House Mountain and the Virginia Military Institute.
Amenities include central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, private deck, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, living room with gas log fireplace; satellite TV with DVD/VCR, Jacuzzi tub, soft linens on plush and comfortable beds.
Oil portraits of General Lee, historical prints, documents and authentic 1860's artifacts reflecting the life and times of its namesake are tastefully displayed in the cabin.
