Nestled High in the Hills of the beach-side neighborhood of Bravos de Boston, you might blink and think you are in the Hollywood Hills of this mid-century, modern inspired beach house. Casa Hermosa — which literally means "beautiful house" in Spanish — is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house located at the end of a dead end street, affording ultimate privacy. The house sits a minute's walk to a swimable North Shore beach, and you can walk to Isabel Segunda for coffee in the morning or a sunset drink in the afternoon. The nearby beach is also a neighborhood favorite for snorkeling.
Casa Hermosa has ample outdoor seating for lounging or for dining outside, conveniently located right off the kitchen. One of the house's two full bathrooms is accessed off the exterior living rooms. In addition, there is a luxurious outside shower with a sunflower head and plenty of Vieques hill views and stars at night.
Inside the house is an ample living room, dining room, and lounge area, all open to each other. Casa Hermosa offers two bedrooms, one on each end of the house for privacy. The kitchen, appointed with stainless steel appliances and concrete counters, has large windows and a door to bring the outside in.
The yard and gardens of Casa Hermosa are a tropical delight, and very private. The many blooming plants include: Ixora, hibiscus, Royal Poinciana (Flamboyant), Dwarf Poinciana, flowering and night-scented Rangoon Creeper, and Gardenias. There are also several palm varietals, including Coco palms, Filipino Coco palms, Adorneidia, Figi fan, and Coco Plumosa. Several mature fruit-bearing trees include papaya, custard apple, prickly pear, banana, orange, grapefruit, and avocado trees. In addition, there is aloe vera, a variety of blooming cactus, blue agave, and ornamental grass.
The views of the North Atlantic are breathtaking, including Culebra and Culebrita, as well as interior views of the hills.
