Pu'u O Hoku (Hill Of Stars) Ranch in Hawaii is a beautiful tropical retreat facility dedicated to nourishing the mind, body and spirit, where deep renewal and inner focus are key. Our remote site on the eastern tip of Molokai is surrounded by 14,000 acres of pristine conservation land, at the very edge of the world. Miles of safe hiking trails are available throughout the ranch, either up to the mountains or down to the sea. Delightful white sand beaches are a close drive away. The land is raw and elemental with no buildings or people in sight farther than the eye can see. This is truly a gem, there are very few private preserves of this magnitude left for guests to enjoy.
The old style Hawaiian lodge and buildings were constructed in the 1930's for then owner Paul Fagan, founder of the Hana Ranch and Hotel on Maui. Carefully maintained and preserved, the Lodge and adjacent cottages provide a unique retreat experience of Hawaii of old.
The Lodge includes a spacious main hall and meeting room with a large stone fireplace surrounded by relaxed seating and a library. A huge lanai, opening along the length of the Lodge, includes dining and seating areas with broad views over gardens to the sea.
There are 11 bedrooms with a minimum sleeping capacity of 22. Within walking distance are 2 cottages in the same Hawaiian style, the Sunrise Cottage with 2 bedrooms and the Grove House, with 4. Nearby the Lodge and cottages, our country store provides fresh produce and beef grown on the Ranch's organic farm.
This is an ideal location for teachers to bring students for creative, introspective or healing retreats. It is also a wonderful location for families to come spend time together with large indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone to discover. |
