We loved waking up to the whales and rainbows almost daily! Loved the aquarium and I think most enjoyable was the trip to Hana and beyond to see where Charles Lingberg was buried. Loved the hike to the falls through the bamboo forest as well. Stopped anywhere on the roadside we wanted to swim. The accommodations here are excellent and have already recommended it. We have been coming to Maui for the last 22 years. Our criteria for housing has run the gamut of resorts to condos for comfort. Our 1st need is to be on the beach. Second is comfort and well located with easy access. We want to thank Alex for our stay. This was probably the most thoughtfully planned unit we have ever stayed in. The condo is very well stocked and addresses almost any need you can think of. If we had our own place I would like to think it would be prepared as carefully as here

This was our “Father-Daughter” trip to celebrate Madeline’s 16th birthday and it was in a word “breathtaking”!! The condo was out of a movie. I had to pinch myself. Hoyochi Nikko #105 was exactly what we needed after the stress of planning a wedding. The location is perfect…within walking distance of the Farmer’s Market and Bad Ass coffee (we walked there every morning during our stay) What can we say about the views from the lanai, but WOW!!! It was a great place to eat our breakfast every morning. While we adventured out some each day, we also enjoyed just soaking up some sun in the lounge chairs. Favorite sights: seat turtles out back, several rainbows and gorgeous sunsets. We were so spoiled by our ocean view while on Maui that we cal to make sure we had one on Kauai. Mahalo!!

Alex, once again and absolutely fabulous time on Maui and at Hoyochi Nikko #105. BEAUTIFUL!! This is our 2nd time staying in #105. We absolutely love the accommodations. The location is absolutely perfect. While staying here it is to quiet and relaxing you feel like you’ve found your own private slice of paradise. We were here to celebrate our 27th anniversary and a much deserved vacation. Unit #105 could not have been a better choice to rest, relax and celebrate our anniversary. It is beautiful here again, Alex. I think, however, it is more lush, warmer for January than we have ever experienced before. Lori and Scott stayed with us a couple nights after the Valley Isle. They think we are so fortunate to have found a little piece of paradise. And we do too (even if it was Ordy that originally clued us in on your place. . .ha, ha)! Denny and his buddy Ordy from college day are always giving each other a bad time. John just trimmed your hedge that overlooks the pool. Alex, Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Everything is perfect from the view to the comfortable bed!! You made our first visit to Maui exceptional and I know we’ll be back!! Every year we seem to add a few more days to our stay and still after 3 weeks was hard to say good bye. Weather has been perfect the entire time. Ahh, Maui. What can one say about this one island within a paradise chain of islands? This is our second stay at #105 and we are already planning our third!! We love it here. The condo is beautiful and so well appointed. It feels like home only with a much better view!! The people at Hoyochi Nikko are always so nice. We saw so many turtles this time. Sometimes up to 10 right out by the rocks – AMAZING. Haleakaka is truly breathtaking – our best hike ever. WOW!! Paradise it is and more as you we’ve endured a few stressful fears as we lost our only child Matt @ the age of 25 from a heart attack. He knew this was my dream vacation and what can I say…. I LOVE IT!!! I demand “squatters” rights…. When people say it’s a small world it is. Met a couple Bill & Sharon from White Rock BC where I visit quite a bit and Barb & Tim from San Antonio and I was just there in Feb and we knew common people. Everything about the condo is perfect!!! Perfect Maui vacation with sunny weather. A beautiful view, combined with wonderful accommodations. Everything that we could possibly need in Unit #105. The condo was immaculate thanks to Jody. We saw more whales that we could count. We were visited by many sea turtles, a monk seal was feeding on a squid right in front of our unit. One of our highlights were the Thursday night PUPU parties where we met many new friends. John and Irene were perfect hosts. Our big excitement was February 27th Tsunami warning, evacuation to high ground (W. Maui Airport) at 6am. We congregated with 1500 other people for 8 hrs. There’s something about being in Hawaii that everything feels right with the world. And this condo was just PERFECT!!! The view from the lanai (and even standing behind the stove) was gorgeous. We saw whales every single morning. Have Christmas Eve Kabobs & spending Christmas day on the chase lounge overlooking the ocean made it a very Mele Kalikimaka!! We spend two weeks in Maui, only one at the condo because we spent the first week at my mother in laws condo before she got to Maui. This is our 6th visit to Hoyochi Nikko (3rd Year at Unit #105). We love the setting near the ocean and reading all day. Watching turtles, surfers and sometimes whales and dolphins. Our biggest decision of the day is where to have dinner. Enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Kaanapali Beach Hotel, this year 8 in our party – all visitors at Hoyochi Nikko that we have met in our previous visits. Love the quiet and at home feeling!!!

We don’t want to leave!!!! Can we please stay forever? Please??!!! What a wonderful place. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the lanai listening to the waves and watching for sea turtles. The snorkeling was great – off Lanai, near Black Rock and in Kapalua Bay. We saw beautiful fish, an orange and gray eel (4 feet long) that had our full attention and some neat sea turtles. ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT!!!! Is there anything else to say? You truly have a piece of paradise here!!! I was a bit leery at first since I was in a wedding in McKenna, but the long drive was well worth it!!! Perfect sunsets and playful turtles were just a few of the daily treasures here!! Mark & John were both here and keep the property well maintained. Nothing like making angels in the freshly raked sand. #105 was everything and more that Alex had indicated. John & Irene were great, the property is beautiful and we will recommend to anyone who asks. My daughter and her husband joined us for a week and ditto that. We have been to Maui many times, but the opportunity to revisit the “Aloha Spirit” was long overdue. We spent most of our time visiting old friends and making new ones. Bruce & Cindy
