Great Ski In/SkiOut Location

We have stayed in this unit 2 years in a row and will definately be back. The best part of the unit is its location on the mountain. It is truly a ski in/ski out unit (unlike some that claim to be). The unit itself is kept up very well with a large fully stocked kitchen, living room and half bath downstairs. And two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the second level. The balcony is also very nice. On sunny days you can sit out there and watch the tubing hill and all the action on the mountain. My ONLY words of caution would be that there are a lot of stairs. Several stairs to get to the front door and several stairs to get to the second level where the bedrooms and full bathrooms are. If you have any physical issue that might make climbing stairs difficult this might not be the unit for you. Other than that the unit is great, perfect location and we Love the town of Crested Butte.

Great Condo in an awesome location! This was our 4th Christmas in Crested Butte and we love this location. Scott was great to work with and his condo is not only comfortable but very efficiently furnished. The downstairs accomodated all 4 of us for dining at the large table and relaxing on the leather couch and chairs - spectacular view of the tubing hill and slopes from the livingroom balcony. The kitchen has everything you could wish for including granite counter tops, blender, belgium waffle maker and plenty of dishes. Loved having the washer & dryer downstairs as well as a half bath. Upstairs the master and guest bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable with large closets and 2 nice bathrooms. The advantage of this condo vs other units in Crested Mountain is that you enter the unit directly from the parking lot with no outside stairs. We will definitely come back to this unit if we choose Crested Butte next year. Thanks for everything, Scott!

The condo is right on the ski slope. You can see a lift right out the living room window! Mountaineer Square is a 2 minute walk from the front door. We found it to be spacious, well furnished, and quite comfy. The beds were excellent. The kitchen was well furnished with all the gadgets we needed. What was especially nice was Scott's attention. He called to make sure our parking situation was ok (i.e. that we had the permits we needed etc). The hot tub was perfect. The one issue that should be noted is that this condo is a second floor walk up with the bedrooms on the 3rd floor. If any one in your party has trouble with stairs this may be an issue. As for us, Scott will be the first person we call when we are planning our next Crested Butte trip! Thanks Scott for helping make this a great weekend!

Very nice large kitchen with all of the amenities, spacious living/dining room area, balcony with beautiful views of the ski slope. The two bedrooms were great, with very good mattresses (which seem rare these days in hotels/rentals). The only minor negative is that the downstairs carpets could use a cleaning. Otherwise, a really great place to stay (we are a family of five) in beautiful Crested Butte. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Great Condo!! Great location, great views. The condo has a really large and spacious living room/kitchen area. great views of the mountain from our balcony. We cook a lot and the condo had everything we needed, nice appliances, grainite counters. The furniture is very nice and comfortable. having access to a private garage was great because we didn't have to worry about our mountain bikes and fishing gear taking up space in the condo or being in a public garage. excellent location!! You can watch the bike races and concert from your balcony. walking distance to all the restaurants on the mountain. We had a great experience!!

This condo made our stay enjoyable because we were able to watch our son go up the lift and ride down the mountain while biking. The property management people were very helpful when some of the promised amenities needed attention because of maintance around the condo areas. We did have to share the garage with the condo's painters because it had been previously rented out. But they were willing to share the space with us as well.

We have stayed in CO resorts that were listed as "ski-in,ski-out" before but ended up with a hefty walk or shuttle to the lifts. For the price, we thought this would be the same, but you will really ski to the lift every morning! Bring food for lunch at the condo -- we weren't prepared on day #1 because we didn't believe we could really ski up to the door, stop for lunch and not waste time getting back to the mountain. You can eat lunch at the condo in probably less time than on the mountain! Plenty of room - updated kitchen and a nice balcony overlooking the slopes. We had front row seats for all of the final week-end events. Comfortable beds. Scott was always available for directions and questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Will not look anywhere else if this is available on our next visit.

The condo has the best location for a two bedroom condo at Crested Mountain!. My family of five enjoyed our six nights at C2. We travel for 2.5 days with six people so you can imagine the quantity of food, ski clothes, luggage, etc that we have to carry. The convenience of the entrance to the condo being next to the parking lot was ideal!! We were able to unload our van by putting everything on the walk in front of the entrance and did not have to carry it through the parking lot! We loved being able to ski right up to the Crested Mountain condo's hot tub. The walk is cleared so there is no problem getting to the condo entrance. We have stayed on the other end of Crested Mountain Condo and found it very difficult to ski to the entrance because of deep snow. The tubing hill does not present a problem with skiing to the condo. There is plenty of skiing room to get down the run and into the walk by the hot tub. The condo has a perfect view of the Red Lady Lift. Just look out the door of the balcony to see if the lift is running in the morning! You can be the first on the lift! We enjoy watching the skiers coming down the run with the torches on Christmas eve and New Years eve. Cooking Christmas Dinner and all of the other meals was not a problem since the kitchen came equipped with all that is needed. We had a problem with the refrigerator and the owner had someone come out on Christmas EVE!! The refrigerator is fixed now and can hold enough food for 5 for a week! The master bedroom upstairs has a very comfortable king size bed. I loved the private hot tub after skiing all day. My young adult kids found the second bedroom bed and the sleeper downstairs comfy. Having a washer/dryer in the condo was very handy. There was washing detergent in the laundry closet! Now for the worst part of the condo - The stairs going up to the condo. All of the two bedroom condos at Crested Mountain are upstairs. So, get used to walking up the stairs or pay LOTS more for a three bedroom. I work out at the gym before going skiing each year!!!! My family enjoyed the condo and plan to return to the SAME condo for Christmas, 2010! You should book it another time!

This is a great, true ski in / ski out location and nicely located in front of the tubing hill to watch the little kids enjoying after school thrills. The walk to restaurants at the base of the slopes was a minute or two and maybe two or three minutes to the main bus stop to Cested Butte. Everything worked in the nicely appointed unit. I had zero compliants! I recommend this unit for sure. Matt from Florida
