Yes, at Kolea Penthouse 1F, there is no reason to fight over who get s the room with the view, because all three of the bedrooms have a view of the ocean, as does the main living area in this beautifully furnished Penthouse Villa with a panoramic ocean view in Kolea, a five star Centex Destination located within the beautiful Waikoloa Beach Resort. Kolea is one of the only condos that you can walk out the door of your villa and be on the beach within minutes,as it has direct access to the A' Bay beach, a rarity on the Big Island. No reason to have to load up the car, and travel to a beach. You are already there. Walk barefoot on the sand, where Sea Turtles come in to bask in the sun on the beach, or stay in the villa and watch the whales cavorting in the ocean.
Forget paying all extra luggage fees. Take half the clothes and wash them in our washer/dryer half way through the week. We even supply the detergent. We also have a cooler and beach towels for your use at the beach. You can even book snorkling trips right on our beach at the Beach Shack and rent canoes, etc
For history buffs, there is also Petraglyphs to explore, and the sacred habitats of the Ancient Hawaiian inhabitants of the island.A truly mystical place.
The first thing that you will notice as you step of the private elevator that takes you up to 1F is that it has been beautifully decorated, and as you step through the front door, the six pocket doors that open to join the main living area with the lanai that give you an fabulous view of the ocean, not to mention a breathtaking view of Mauna Kea,and Mauna Lani Mountains.
Each bedroom has its own private bath within the room, plus there is an additional half bath powder room, in the unit for everyone's use.
The resort is located between the Hilton, (don't forget DolphinQuest!!) and the Waikoloa Beach Marriott on the Beach at A' Bay. v
Kolea is a beautiful resort which boasts a beautiful Beach Club, including a infinity swimming pool, rock jacuzzi, separate sand entry child's pool, and an exercise Hale. The spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from the Beach Club gathering area, that sports an beautiful outdoor kitchen and barbeque. Or if you would rather, you can stay in and watch them from your own lanai.
AND if this is not already enough, we can arrange for you to play golf at the two Waikoloa Beach Golf Courses at a really reduced member rate of $50.00 at the Tom Weiskof designed King's Course, and $75.00 at the Pete Dye designed Beach Course. The non-member is at least 3 times higher.
It is conveniently located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants, ( Roy's Fine Cuisine, Merriman's, Big Island Steak, to name a few) at the Kings Shops, and the newly opened Queen Shops and restaurants, including Sensei, the new Sushi restaurant, with Kareaoke on the weekends.. There really is no reason to really leave the Waikoloa Beach Resort, but if you wish can always take a short trip to the island's active volcano.

- We are members of the Kings Course and own a Charter Gold Golf membership that allows our guests in 1F to play unlimited golf for $50.00 round (usually $165.00 round) for the Kings Course, and $75.00 a round (usually $195.00 a round) including the cart. This is a huge savings if you play golf every day!! In 7 days of play, EACH player would save $805.00 if you play the Kings Course, and $840.00 if you play the Beach Course. Our villa manager can book it for you. The savings would more than pay for the cost of the villa. Our manager can also book other excursions if you like. Since we share a beach with the Marriott, they also have an activities shack on the beach and the snorkling cruises leave on the beach, right on our beach. Also, our other neighbor, the Waikoloa Hilton has DolphinQuest, and a guest spa an dfitness program available for a fee, and families can buy an all day pass for one fee to use their slides and pools. You never need to leave the area to eat or shop.

Kolea has the quality of a 5 Star hotel. It is the only non-hotel resort in Waikoloa Beach Resort located on the beach. Because Kolea is located next to the Waikoloa Marriott, you can easily book snorkeling, whale watching, scuba diving,and sunset dinner cruises, simply by walking out on the beach in front of the Kolea Beach Club. Also, the King Shops and Queensplace Shops are just a short walk away. So many restaurants available right in Waikoloa Beach.

We have stayed twice in this fabulous condo. The setting is breath takingly beautiful from the ocean views, the lush tropical landscaping, and amazing sunsets. The condo has everything you would ever need from cooking in the gourmet kitchen, BBQing on the large lani, to relaxing in the luxurious bedroom suites. This lovely condo has every amenity you would ever want. We love the end location with its private elevator and short walk to the pool, beautiful beach and great shopping. WE CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK TO PARADISE!!!

My husband and I truly found paradise. This penthouse condo is absolutely fabulous. If you want to stay in luxury and relax in a spectacular setting, this is the place for you. Everything was perfect, from the private elevator to the grand lanai with views of the ocean and memorable sunsets. The minute we left we were planning our return.

This was my third visit to your fabulous condo and I am already looking forward to my next trip. It is a beautiful unit and so luxurious, yet still very cozy. It is always stocked with all the pots, pans and utensil needed to cook anything from a simple dinner to a gourmet meal. We love that is within walking distance to great shopping and wonderful restaurants, or a stroll along the beach where you are usually lucky enough to see the turtles. The sunset from the large lanai are unbelievable. I always recommend your unit to everyone who is planning a trip to the big island of Hawai'i.

Great location! Loved the panoramic view from the large veranda. Great place to view the beautiful sunsets over the ocean. Enjoyed the extra privacy of being in an end unit also. Beautiful furnishings throughout the home with top of the line appliances, comfortable beds, etc.. Look forward to another visit! Had terrific experience swimming with dolphins in nearby waters with with Adventure X Rafting, Also close to Parker Ranch for horse back riding & ATV's.
