The location is unbeatable. This area of the Strand (our boardwalk!) is very private, as the homes are raised above passerby's allowing for privacy even on the deck and jacuzzi tub. Less foot-traffic than the central Manhattan Beach area near the pier, though you can use our bicycles to get to that busier part of town in just minutes. Also within easy walking distance (a couple blocks) are many excellent restaurant, yoga studio, bars, shopping, hair-stylists, etc. For those thinking of trying their hand on a surfboard, this is the spot-- known as one of LA county's best surfing waves. It's a treat just to watch the surfers and dolphins swimming by in the morning. This really is the best of both worlds... laid back beach living with the all the comforts of Manhattan Beach!

We have always loved Manhattan Beach! It is one of the best kept secrets in Los Angeles. So close to everything yet with such a unique beach culture that is so different from the rest of Los Angeles. We have traveled around the world and we think this is the best place on earth!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We live in Hermosa Beach, only 3 homes from the beach. But there is something special and uniquely different when you stay at a property directly on the oceanfront. You are able to connect with the ocean differently and the beach too. And here where properties are often very close together, you have the infinite horizon to look out to instead of your neighbor's wall.
We love watching the surfers and dolphins from the living room or patio! Also we just love meeting people who visit our rental from around the world. We are also world travelers, so we certainly feel a kindred spirit with our visitors.
Great dining, shopping, nightlife just a bike ride away. Lucky for you we provide complimentary bicycles. Or you can walk...
