Come relax, undwind and soak up the sunshine in a tropical paradise on Venice Island at the Island Palms Condo (formerly Kathryn's Condo). This vacation condo is in a great location where you can walk or bike to beautiful Caspersen Beach, enjoy great food and sunsets at Sharky's Restaurant and fishing off Sharky's Pier. Shop in the boutiques in the downtown historic district, enjoy all kinds of sports and visit a variety of nearby attractions.
This unit is on the second (top) floor in a small quiet condo complex with all newly constructed interior and exterior. It is fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and linens and towels. Beach chairs and shark toothing equipment are available in our storage room. Coin operated washer and dryer are available two doors down from the unit.
You can fly into the Sarasota Airport which is about 15 miles away or fly your own private plane to Venice Airport.
One (calendar) month minimum stay.

This condo is spotless and in perfect order. It is ideally located in a quiet neighborhood literally withing walking distance to the beautiful gulf beaches. The business district for shopping and restaurants is about a mile away (maybe a three minute drive) and has everything one could possibly want or need. For those of us who care and are cautious, the fire department, hospital and police station are also within a mile which is very reassuring. The folks who own this place could not be nicer and are a pleasure to deal with. All in all Venice is a very nice place to stay, had a great time here and would highly recommend this rental. About the owner: My husband and I lived in Florida for 13 years but are now living in our home state of Ohio. We can do business with you via email and telephone if you are interested in renting our condo.
Why the Owner Chose Island Palms (Formerly Kathryns):
We have been going to the Venice area since 1995 when we attended the Shark's Teeth Festival. We bought our first Florida snow shovel and have been hooked ever since. We have over 13,000 sharks teeth in our collection.

We love to visit our condo in Venice because of the great beaches, looking for shark's teeth, shopping in the boutiques and eating at many great restaurants. Our favorite foods are grouper, mahi-mahi and stone crab claws.
