The island still maintains an old Florida feel, with uncrowded beaches and beautiful sunsets, while offering a diverse choice of restaurants and activities. World Class sunbathing, shelling, fishing, or just lounging are literally right outside your front door. With a private heated pool and beach access, this house has everything you could ask for.
The house is luxuriously furnished. Special designer touches include - crown moldings, upgraded countertops, built-in vacuum, cable TV service, DVD players, Stereo system, full wet bar, two-car garage. The master suite has a king bed and a master bath fit for a king or queen with a jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and room for sitting and reading. The third bedroom has two twin beds that can be pulled together to make a king. The Living Room has a Queen Size Sleeper couch.
We just added BROADBAND INTERNET Connection with wireless ( wifi) access in the home.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We love having the pool in addition to the beach. Although nothing beats our great beach, its kind of nice to just hang with an adult beverage by the pool and have a BBQ with minimal hassle and convenience. But when it is beach time - 8 minutes walk and you are there, Best of both worlds. Plus we love the secluded, highly tropical feel of our street and heavy foliage.

We spent an idyllic week here in May, 2008. This was our third trip to the island, and we had the most wonderful, relaxing vacation here in the Carneys home. The house was perfect and in excellent condition, with every amenity we could want, just as pictured on the website. Our kids (along with us) thoroughly enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. All in all we had a perfect week and cannot wait to return. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat! The Snider Family

My sister and her family and my family had the pleasure of renting this beach house from June 30- July 14, 2004. What a wonderful home! We could not of ask for a nicer and well-equipped home. It is only a short walking distance to the beach. It has its own private pool which was just prefect!! We had plenty of room for 8 in this house. Everything was top of the line. Thank you Carney family for sharing your home and we hope to visit again soon and also hope to visit your Colorado home too!!

This house is literally brand new - we closed on the new construction in late July of 2002. There are few brand new properties on Anna Maria - most rental properties on the island are 70's style ranch houses and offer few amenities. This house has all the amenities of a luxury villa - private heated pool and spa, truly everything you are used to in your own home plus more. The walk to the best beach in North America is about 8 minutes. We found ourselves staying by the private pool alot - the kids loved the pool. The house being so new has never been rented, nor lived in ( short of the two weeks we stayed there when we were furnishing the property) Anna Maria is truly the last unspoiled island area in Florida, near a major airport,that hasn't been overdeveloped. No high rises, mostly single family or duplexes. If you like unspoiled, white sand beaches, laid back fishing, great resteraunts and all the sun you can handle - you will absolutely love this place. But we are biased - let us know what you think!
