Welcome to Sea Zen Inn! This artist -designed home is a simple,but elegant and comfortable sanctuary located five minutes from National Seashore ocean and bay beaches. The crystal clear freshwater Wellfleet ponds, bike trails, galleries, restaurants, theaters and nature sanctuary are also all close by.
Sea Zen Inn is an ideal destination for 2-8 non-smokers who are on a personal or family vacation,attending a workshop, seeking a superb space for a group retreat, or for any special occasion outing. The house is not designed for young children (high roof decks, queen beds ,new custom decorating, etc.) but feel free to discuss your rental party needs with the owner.Minimum Rental time period is generally one week with preference given to longer term renters in the summer. Off season shorter rental periods may be considered. So sorry but no pets and no smoking are allowed.
Regarding the layout:the house is very spacious ,but every room feel comfortable and welcoming.There are four custom designed bedrooms with a queen bed in each. There are two bedrooms on the entry level and two more on the walk- out to grade level.Upstairs you will find the dramatic, cathedral ceiling living/dining room/kitchen and the panoramic sunroom.Also on this level, there is a generous main deck with expansive views. From the deck, you can walk up to the roof deck from which you can see the landscape unfold for miles and miles around.
Other features include: a jetted tub in the master bath, a gourmet kitchen (with a large eat-at island), a den for reading and TV, oversized arched windows, "Zen style" landscaping, privacy blinds, a dazzling sun room,a high definition television, and central air conditioning. For outdoor living, there are four levels of outdoor seating (a stone patio, covered porch, main deck, roof deck). This extraordinary home accommodates 2-8 non-smokers.

Wow! We loved staying at this fabulous house! The living room area is so dramatic with the bay views and trees outside and the earth-tones and artwork inside. The house is really comfortable too; we had a couple of rainy days during our vacation but we didn't mind staying home at all. Even if you don't do yoga or meditate, the place seems to have it's own special 'vibe' of peacefulness which even our guests felt. What is also neat is that you are so close to the bay and the ocean beaches and town (we biked), but you really feel totally away from it all at this house. You really have to experience this place to understand....
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Although we had vacationed in Wellfleet before, staying at Sea Zen Inn was really a surprising and transporting experience! The house is a marvel :each room has such a different character as if walking into a painting . Plenty of privacy in each of the bedrooms on different levels. Amazing windows and ,light in the living room and mindblowing views from the top deck. Lots of nice touches in the landscaping as well ( check out the cobblestone driveway and the Buddha in the zen garden). We also liked the house “handbook” and all the thoughtful information about things to see and do in the area. Can’t wait to come back to this fantastic house next year!
